A paper published in Nature Biotechnology in May 2016 is stirring up a lot
of controversy. The article from researcher Chunyu Han’s team at Hebei
University of Science and Technology describes an alternative genome-editing
technology based on an enzyme from the Argonaute protein family (NgAgo).
The data appear to show that the system can edit genes with a specificity
that even the CRISPR/Cas9 system lacks.

三组以上并不是必须先做ANOVA。ANOVA和T-test没有本质上的区别，事实上t-
distribution是ANOVA用的F-distribution极端情况(df=1)。
所以两两做T-test在方法学上并没有任何问题。只不过为了保证同时能reject null
hypotheses，p-value必须重新调整(bonferroni theorm)。 |

老板不牛或者关系不好，就被拒，
不过第二个reviewer 竟然是 Hypotheses Yes/No: No，呵呵呵，这个应该是据的理由吧
Angew chem 现在是只要有一个负面的comment就据，reviewer一般是2-3个或者更多，
因为很多reviewer回复慢，所以editor会把paper送给多个reviewer审，最先回来的两
个意见作为参考。两个都positive就接受，有一个negative就据。 |

This is very interesting. Not sure that 麻黄根中也含有麻黄碱. I read that
the root of 麻黄 contains ephedradine, a chemical that has vasodilatory
effect, the exact opposite of ephedrine. Isn't that a great evidence
that the traditional observation is valuable, but there is chemistry
basis to that.

留学生是415一个学分，绿卡减半，下学期好像又要涨一点，
suny是州立系统，cuny是市立系统，
我一个同学BMCC毕业的在我们program，
他BMCC用的paper都可以拿过来接着交，
每次只要挖挖以前的paper拿来交就行了，
说明ASN和BSN很多课其实都差不多的，
就是听说suny downstate学校那边很多黑人，
你实地跑一次去看看，但是他们有自己的medical center，
我选hunter因为地铁方便，在曼哈顿，大部分都是白人和亚裔，部分黑人，
SUNY他们那个program prefer有绿卡的学生，要申请要尽量早点。
RN－BSN Nursing的课都是每学期几个paper APA format，
老师都会提前告诉你要写什么，
最多就是有个期中考，有些没有期中考，
期末一般没有考试，平时就是听老师讲课，
看看老师给的文章，做几个online的certificate考试，
最多一个paper，然后期末就是group presentation。

using Bonferroni means u test a family of hypotheses simultaneously. Say if
you would like to see which pair of groups are more/less different, then do
pairwise comparison one by one and rank the P-values. If you would like to
test a hypothesis that all/some pairs are equal, then do simultaneous test
with Bonf/Tukey/Scheffe.
From what u said before, i think u just want to find out the significantly
different pairs. u don't need Bonferroni.
Just my 2 cents. |
