必须是直接证明，前者间接公证就可以了，它这个certified copy我的理解
是和原136签证的出生要求差不多，就是比如提供护照上有生日的那页的
复印件，做个间接公证就行了，就是说公证是证明你的复印件和原件相符，
公证人不去考证你究竟是不是这天出生的。
查了一下457签证需要的证明文件，关于出生认证，有如下陈述：

如果是第一次申请，在
“Initial Firearms Purchaser Identification Card” 上打叉。这张申请FID的表同
时可以申请手枪购买，所以一般申请的时候会在“Application to Purchase a
Handgun”上打叉。旁边“Quantity of Permits:”，除非你只打算拥有一支手枪，建
议填写3支， 而不是1支.
为什么是3, 因为泽西脑残的手枪购买证有效期是90天，而且规定每支枪的买入时间间
隔不得低于30天。这样你在90天内最多只能买入三支手枪。注意，泽西这个限制只对手
枪，步枪不受时间和数量的限制，但步枪有弹匣容量和一些feature上的限制。
当你FID申请通过的话，手枪购买证也下来了。这个手枪的购买证是$5, 3支也就$15，

偶然读到发表于贵刊2006年第12期的马元龙的文章《翻译需要敬畏之心（下）》，批评
我所翻译的《拉康选集》。读了之后颇有几点感想，乞借贵刊一角略述，亦可就教于关
心拉康译文的读者。
译事无止境，只有切琢中才能进步。我翻译的《拉康选集》由上海三联书店出版后，一
直未见专家对译文的评判，这次看到有人来点评，甚是欣喜，但是细读之下，却感到非
常失望。翻译，是个从原文到目标文的过程；评论翻译，当然是在对比原文和译成的文
字后做的判断，这是不言而喻的。然而，我将拉康所写的法文原文迻译成中文，马博士
却凭借英译本来评判我的中译文，似乎对拉康的原文过于轻视了吧。当然，马博士特地
指出，拉康的英译本是得到拉康的继承人认可的本子，但他却不知拙译亦是。拉康著作
版权所有者及其出版社对翻译质量很是挑剔，他们请了权威人士对我的译文认真鉴定之
后才授予版权同意三联出版这部译作。英译本无疑是个好译本，我也不在这里评论英译
和中译孰优孰劣，只是想说，就拉康著作的责任人的信任而言，中译本和英译本具有同
