政策，然后实行自己的政策，民主党再一上台，再推翻共和党的政策。反反复复，最后
啥事情也没做成。比如如果romney赢了，可能会花1，2年时间推翻医疗改革法案。然后
如果romney没有连任，另外一个民主党人上台，再话1，2年重新通过被推翻的法案...
如果大部分问题都是想上述的，那美国国内经济社会政策怎么保持连续性，稳定性？还
是一直不断折腾，互相折腾，最后啥事情也不做？
还有，执政党推出任何政策，任何Bill,在野党不管三七二十一，先反对再说。然后为
了这个bill讨论半天，最后胎死腹中，然后互相指责对方。
这不是不是大家先做说的'political paralysis' （政治瘫痪）？
我对美国民主制度也不是内行，但是在美国也生活了30多年了，感觉就是两伙人，‘为
了反对而反对’，‘为了吵架而吵架’，‘一切为了选举，为了选票’。大部分时间都
花在这上面，没多少时间花在怎么使国家强大上面。然后选举就是选秀，选民凭感觉走
，那个说的话漂亮，承诺的东西多，人家就选谁。难道美国选民不知道竞选“是都是你

也好比十字军的时候，基督徒杀异教徒毫不留情，无论孩子，老人都杀。这是当年宗教

也真不是为了名声，有两年我那里问题学生特别多，我老公还开玩笑说，
你不能招几个正常的吗。系里相关专业每个被别的导师停了奖学金或的学生，都会来找
我，还说是谁谁谁告诉他的，那个唐老师总能帮你
毕业的。这种名声绝对不是什么好事情。我后来只能经常跟学生说，
这个我可以帮你(修改，检查，排练面试，验算数据等等)，但你别跑出去
说我还管这个。更多的原因另外的帖子说了。
归根结底，对我的性格来说，前面有人说了，宰相肚里好撑船对我，
就是个illusion。
不是不够真心，而是真没有那个气量。
比如学生一激动的时候一封怪我这怪我那的邮件会让我郁闷一晚上，
真心为别人好的时候就不会有期望失望，也是一个illusion。
就假设某人体谅配偶辛苦，所以自己每个周末特意起早把卫生打扫饭做好了
，配偶当做理所当然了，还埋怨没把衣服也洗了。。。此人觉得委屈郁闷
，或者忍不住要跟对方论论理的话，真不是原本是否真心的问题，还是个
气量的问题。所以琢磨从出生起这种气量的形成，都跟哪些因素有关。
看看有没有办法后天影响吗啡

这就好比一只猴子的大脑，说白了也就是膝跳反射的脊髓的高级形式。或者说，脊髓本
质上就是大脑的低级形式。
但是中肯的说，猴子的大脑，确实比膝跳反射的脊髓，有质的飞跃。因为猴子的大脑可
以“先发制人”（make prediction），而膝跳反射的脊髓，只能后发制于人。没办法
，反射弧太短，记忆力太差，硬伤。
类比一下，如果从膝跳反射的脊髓的角度看，是永远无法理解猴子的大脑为啥能先发制
人 prediction。因为对这膝跳发射的脊髓而言，这世上有 prediction 嘛我脊髓--看-
-不--见！。。。但猴子们都知道，膝跳反射的脊髓看到的这个只有后发制人的世界，
那只是个 illusion。。。而这时孟庭苇唱道：你看，你看，是哪只猴子在敲打膝盖的
面。。。
而从这个角度延伸一下，猴子的大脑看到的这个 deterministic 的世界，绞尽脑汁用
deterministic 的理念来理解描述 non-deterministic 的nature 的方程的时候，智人

為了更明確的解釋這種錯視現象，我們寫信請教對這個領域頗有專攻的台大心理系陳建
中副教授。陳教授很快的就給予我們答覆，不過因為教授剛從歐洲參與研討會回來很多
事要處理，目前只能先給我們一個較短的說明。
關於旋轉女人的錯視圖，陳教授表示這種剪影錯視(silhouette illusion)是一個古老
錯視的花俏版本，原始範例出自Dr.Richard Gregory。我們花了很多時間在找這張原始
範例，但網路上的錯視圖實在多如牛毛，我們無法確定陳教授指的是哪張圖。
這裡有一個網站蒐集了非常多的經典錯視圖形，有興趣的網友可以參考：Optical
Illusion Galleries；另外還有Dr. Richard Gregory的個人網站Professor Richard
Gregory on-line，裡面有許多視覺與認知方面的論文。
陳教授簡單說明這張圖有時看起來會反向旋轉的原因，是由於「將3D物件以2D方式呈現
時，所造成的模擬兩可的現象。」同時，「目前沒有證據表示此種認知現象與性別、智
商或大腦的不對稱有關。」

Kissinger(基辛格)就不用介绍了，借用毛泽东的话，是“中国人民的老朋友”了。
1971年秘密访问中国，1972年中美建交、发表联合公报，他都起了至关重要的作用。所
以由他来写一本关于中美关系问题的专著，再合适不过了。如果有问题，那就是为什么
他直到今天才写这本书——距离他第一次访问中国已经整整四十年了，和他当年斗智斗
勇的那些中国领导，毛泽东、周恩来（Kissinger对周有很高的评价）、邓小平等等，

倒没有觉得你那篇说了很多坏话。有些说的没错啊。 关于那个爱显摆的教授，他本来
就应该是这个presumptuous 的形象 . 至于男主，我个人对这个演员的选择保留意见。
可能因为看了Owen 同学太多没啥意义的喜剧，觉得这人搁这儿有点怪。总觉得他和这
种有点层次含义的片子不很搭调。 不过，反正我也想不出更好的人选。是有点白痴吧
。不过，这也没啥嘛。本来影片也没想要把他刻画成一个完美的艺术家？一般喜剧片里
的，都是些白痴的角色。古古怪怪，比一个完全reasonable 的character, 要有趣一点
。喜剧不就追求个有趣么。
最后的结尾，我觉得说教还好… 电影结尾总归是要有点意思的。好像有提到一些“要
不要追求完美”的话题。我能理解到的message, 大概是， The present is not
perfect, but it can be beautiful. Being nostalgic is okay, but an illusion
is an illusion. 之类的 。

两天贴的那些一样。
我看过一个很可怕的optical illusion是耶稣，说是盯着画像看十几秒，然后闭上眼睛
，在脑里会印出看到的耶稣头像。我闭眼时感觉那幅画像烙印一样烙在脑里，随着眼皮
心脏颤抖跳动，甩都甩不掉，黑白反差强烈得极不舒服，吓得赶紧睁开眼…… |

出自《Use Your Illusion》的第一张。 没有另外两首Use Your Illusion里的著名长
曲（nov rain 和 estranged）那么广为流传
主要是旋律没有那么朗朗上耳吧
但是这首也是摇滚中的极品了个人认为，该有的都有了，乐团技术上精进如斯，令人叹服
