My area is develop pharmacokinetic models to process tumor imaging data, like
dynamic MRI and PET. Use pharmacokinetic parameter to monitor new drug
effectiveness.
I don't think this area is in great demand. But since imaging is more and more
widely used in industry, it might be easy for us to find a job.
While there is lots of problem in this application of imaging to drug develop,
so industry always would like to enroll |

候会建议相关的电影、动画和演员。
今天我发现在Google Image搜evil obama的时候会给出一条evil bush的建议搜索，但
搜evil bush的时候就没有没有任何建议搜索。
类似的，在google图片里搜evil clinton的时候会给一个clinton meme的建议搜索和两
个(!)Trump的相关建议搜索，但搜evil Trump的时候就给了一大堆Trump各种evil的建
议搜索，没有一条关于Clinton的。
Google的屁股明显太偏了吧，打压共和党已经丧心病狂了。Google因为广告利益和意识
形态调整自己的搜索排序和搜索建议，现在已经在欧盟吃官司，被罚27亿欧元了。

，能穿透几十厘米。临床上，再一个有用的就是OCT，现在眼科诊所里看眼底都是它。
OCT的内窥镜临床也比较热，眼睛和内窥镜，都不需要穿透身体。
除以上之外，optical imaging就只在医学研究上有用了，测测老鼠之类的小动物，方
法很多花样也很多，做这个走学术界还不错。 |

半天都转不完。具有讽刺意义的是，在这个意义上，传统的胶片反而具有一定优势。
另外，楼上几个人说了imaging-guided surgery, 我怎么觉得那个其实就是一般的抗体＋
染色？那个好像和optical imaging 其实没有关系。因为其实就是把病灶染色了让医生
一眼就能看见。其要点在于用什么抗体和用什么染色剂，但是好像并不需要发展成像技
术。
例就是几百G一个T的数据，拿它怎么办？临床的诊断，gold standard 还是
炼出来。这个方法，现在发展还是很难。这么多数据，备份考一下就是一小时。
不了CT片子。一个新成像方法要被临床接受，需要培养新一代医生。如果没有看得懂图
像的人，高清晰的图像不一定便于诊断的。 |

比方说癌症开刀，经常是先切点疑似部分下来，跑到到显微镜下看一下，然后决定大致
的手术方案，这个过程需要十分钟，所以不可能切一点就看一次。实际操作中，到底切
多少为好，医生只有瞎估摸。image guided surgery就是想做到实时诊断，切一点看一
点。
这是个很实用的方向，技术方面并不复杂，复杂的是做工程的和医生要配合非常好，一
个本来MD自己做的手术，现在要加上一个PhD在旁边。

并不是直接和function相关的。Function imaging用什么contrast，是件很头疼的事，
intrinsic contrast往往不好，但是contrast agent怎么送到病灶是个问题，FDA也不
好伺候。总体上，我觉得可能还是intrinsic contrast比较有前途。
