矿最近被力拓卖给一个中国公司了。实习第一个星期全是安全教育，强调不能喝酒吸毒
超速，还有在地底遇到塌方要如何自救，澳洲矿山的标准是塌方了在地底设施的氧气能
坚持48-72个小时。印象最深的就是induction的时候各自自我介绍，然后填表签到，有
个人居然连自己的名字都不会写。我实习期结束时manager问我有没有兴趣毕业后去力
拓工作，我说没兴趣，他很受打击。
矿业公司的环境就是大老粗的环境，你不是这种类型也得装出这种类型，要不然没人理
你，你融入不了，升不上去也就罢了，关键做圈外人很痛苦。
另外一个，fly-in fly-out的工作模式非常不适合家庭，我实习的那个矿山附近是个小
镇，而且离悉尼还不算太远，但西澳的矿业公司都是fly-in fly-out。我实习的时候那
边的人就说离婚是geologist的职业病。
实习前还很受矿业高工资的诱惑，经过一个月实习，彻底打消在矿业干的想法了。毕业
来美国老老实实做千老。我负责任地讲矿业不适合版上99%的wsn。 |

今天我的一位中东朋友打电话来说不能来看我买的新家了，他已经接受了纽约JP
morgan 得offer, 在5月11日就要去美国了。我唏嘘之于很想写一篇文章，算是对自己
的记忆一个交待吧。
这位朋友远不是我最好的朋友之一。相反，刚开始时我非常的不喜欢他。因为他说话非
常aggressive。 这在彬彬有礼的英国很少见。英国boarding school 出来的孩子的最

子们大4岁，因为他们似乎中学和大学都比我们短，加上我又读了个硕士又要拼工作签
