from parents/ or inlaws. Or the couples can take turns to take care of the
kids- if they have a few classes during the day. Of course, you can send the
kids to infant care- usually it is more expensive for infants<1 years old.

护也说中文。其实到了这个年纪，最重要的是活动能力，如果是不能独立，必须要人时
刻服侍，需要assisted living, 那就是等死，那个无论是什么国家都不行。
如果有活动能力，最好还是住自己家，找阿姨上门，或者住在小辈的 inlaw quarter里
面，有自己独立的厨卫后院，跟小辈分摊阿姨费，互相也有个照应，不少老美就是这样
养老的，到了完全不能自理的时候再去老人院等死。 |

commute时间太长了点。
，mission bay那里停车容易，
几个选择是（1）住SF城里例如sunset华人的出租房，一层或者inlaw之类，
（2）住daly city west lake那里，区好，apartment相对不贵。
开车上班commute单程<30min。另外也有公共交通的选择，轻轨或者bart
（3）步行上班，租potrero hill 私人房
（4）坐caltrain上班，住caltrain沿线，但是caltrain不可靠，经常出事停开， |

Learning English is not a good activity for their age unless they plan to
move to US for good.
If they are only for a short term visit (like 6 month), they can join tour
groups organized by chinese company.
Trips can be as close as NYC, Philly, Boston, or as far as CA, Hawaii or
Alaska.
My inlaws enjoyed the Hawaii (any time of the year) and Alaska (only warm
month) tour very much. |

你家inlaw老两口，自己买的保险比年轻人的还便宜，比公司的group insurance还便宜
，甚至比我们公司group insurance里面我们自付的部分都多不了多少。另外除非老两
口身体比年轻人还好，心脏病高血压高胆固醇等中老年人常见病啥都没有，那肯定是还
保pre-existing condition。
我看我们都错了，美国的确不需要health care reform。只要把保险都让你给买就全都
解决问题了。 |

老人在美国一般都很不习惯，和inlaw相处也不一定好
我父母来这里，就算带他们旅游，他们都觉得很没劲。不懂文化，不懂字，没人说话,
也不习惯这里的hiking，road trip啥的。
但是很惭愧地说，我放不下美国的career回国。
我发自内心地怕，如果老人在国内病重了，怎么办？ 辞职回去陪上几年？那这边的老
婆孩子怎么办？
一想到这点，就非常后悔来美国。
我觉得如果不能尽孝，我人生的意义就少了一半。 |
