故事是关于一个四十多岁的在美容院工作的女人Angele，但是基本上象一幅群体肖像。
顾客，(大多数是年华老去的女人)，美容师，女店主，即使没有详细的全身像，也有
匆匆但是清晰的速写。
电影开始是Angele在咖啡座和她刚刚认识数天也度过数天的情人吃早饭，她渴望建立
固定的关系，他却匆匆希望脱身。ANTOINE看到她，为她的神情气质击中，跟踪她至美
容院。从此不能自拔的在街那侧遥望她。
ANGELE对此一无所知，继续着她随机，短暂的一夜情模式。
他终于鼓足勇气跟她讲话。她却拒绝了他。她害怕真正恋爱，因为过去有过不安定的
感情并以手枪走火告终，还因为她小时候中父亲开枪打死了她母亲，而后自杀。
然后发生很多事，她终于坠入了。他带她去买一条金色的裙子，但是当她识衣时看到
他原来的未婚妻跟他纠缠。ANGELE认为他欺骗她，就生气离去了。
新年的前夜ANTOINE坚持来见她，带来一条金色法国宫廷古董裙子，两人误会冰释。
这时候他前未婚妻精神崩溃的冲进来对他开枪，枪打在灯饰上，火花纷落有如礼花。

以前没怎么听说过，后来问了些人，大家也不太了解，所以上来问问。
跟老板见过面了，对她个人算是比较了解，但对这个nonprofit 的institute真是知道
不多，只知道它前身是斯坦福研究所，但究竟所内环境以及对今后的发展如何真是一无
所知。

(I once used their protein facility, it was really substandard, in terms of
turnaround time, overall performance)
the wistar has diminished scale as well, no new facility being constructed
or even planned for years -

Sanford-Burnham Medical Institute is often shadowed by Salk and Scripps,
and less known in China.
In general, if one wants to take advantage of the growing opportunities
and funding in China, I think that it's better to work with a Chinese PI
who has got tenure and on an upswing in a good field. In the next 10
years, the hot money is in China. Unless you have chance to work with an
Nobel Prize caliber boss in U.S., a mediocre U.S. boss wouldn't be able to

本科本来就无所谓专业不专业的，多选一些工程方面的课，直接把专业转到
ME or EE or CS. 真的那么喜欢生物的话，可以选几门生物的课拿个双学位
以后再决定。但是注意不要拿一个bioengineering 的主学位。不然工作不好找。 |

Stevens Institute of Technology
我不了解
Northeastern University我觉得挺好。尤其这个学校本科要求学生去企业实习才能毕
业。没记错的话，这个学校本科5年，一定要做过两个实习才能毕业。学校有专门的办
公室帮忙准备学生找实习，这些年也建立了不错的关系网。波士顿周边生物企业也很多
，其他机会也可以留意。
