起来我再补充，希望对大家有帮助：
时间问题是这样的，IRS有一个substantial residency test(好像是这样叫的），如果
你想作为resident alien报税就得满足：当年在美国得所有时间加上去年在美国的时间
＊1/2再加上前年在美国的时间＊1/3一共达到183天就可以作为resident alien申请税
号了。具体细则你可以查看IRS publication 519。但是如果要把父母作为dependent来
claim，还得满足一条就是他们在你身边居住的时间，这个具体出处在哪里我还没有找
到，但是你可以先去看看1040A的instruction，如何claim dependent。希望对你有帮
助。至于申请程序，你只要下载W7表格，填写好，然后按照instruction把你父母的护
照和签证页公证然后寄去W7 instruction上的那个地址就可以了。 |

小孩子有child credit $1000，1040表上51项，根据instruction上的具体说明，对着
自己的情况慢慢算。
小孩子还有earned income credit （EIC），1040表第64a，有收入限制，要根据
instruction来慢慢算。
还有一个是1040第48项，credit for child and dependent care expenses，填Form
2441，daycare的钱可以要一点回来，看instruction，很简单。
