收到的appointment confirmation里说passport valid at least 6 months past your
intended stay in the U.S.. 查遍了精华区，却没有找到肯定的答案，倒是读到很
多说护照在签证的日期至少一年后再过期就行。
请问有类似经验的朋友吗？
如果一定要申请新护照，离我最近的是纽约。是不是最快都要等一个月？我去加拿大的
签证就在旧护照上，预约签证也是用的旧的护照号码，可以把新旧护照都带上入境加拿
大和去签证吗？

1） USCIS的系统错误，这个时有发生，拿到信后看看原因是什么，如果原因不对，就
回复一封信件，然后打电话file一个case就可以。
2） 你的140有材料作假，在USCIS的Quality Review的时候被认为作假， 这也会
trigger。 这个被批准的140 被重新intend to revoke见过的一般发生在2009~2010年
期间。 当时不少老印 使用过ICC获得了EB2 140的批准，后被查处原来雇主有问题，导
致intend to revoke.
3) 你的485有无法获得批准的情况，在这种情况下，必须revoke你的1A 140,否则你可
以在485被拒绝的第二天再交485 上去（因为你有underlying approved 140).
一般我们都不会在身份上出问题，那么你看看你是否有过EB2 140？ 如果没有，多半就
是1）了。

给30天回复，找出4大理由，让人很不理解，律师现在正在准备材料，。理由我以后慢
慢发上来。感觉移民官很奇怪，连以前的工作证明信都挑刺，比如没有签日期，没有公
司地址（有公司地址，用的是公司抬头纸）
我有一个问题，想请教大家
如果这次140最后还是被拒绝了，请问我可不可以以原来的PERM再申请一次EB3 140？这
样一是可以保留原来的PD，二是可以试试运气换一个移民官。
我这么问是受到了这个帖子的启发

不承认award， 因为是student award.

不承认totality
还有一个问题，就是因为以前发表的两篇一作文章的名字写的有点不一样，被误认为是
只有一篇一作。
另外，在contribution中提到sigma xi， 并没有claim，也被拿出来说了。
