position，要50%出差。我不太清楚将来的发展，also I think I will not be able
to take care of my little baby with that much traveling. 准备请个保姆。我劳

let's assume is a fortune 500 or SEC register) You can transfer to the SOX
group, they need people with Big 4 experience plus internal audit experience
. Financial Reporting (my director came from internal audit dept) or the

internal control的角度去看。
至于operational process audits, it depends on which industry it is. I have
no idea about banking industry。
但是我本人做过的项目有些可以学到不少东西的，such as new product introduction
audit, supply chain management audit, new venture integration audit, etc. I
would say it takes a while to get familiar with those processes if you come
from outside. That's why usually companies prefer hiring internal auditors
internally as it may take less time for them |

本人背景，国内是freelance designer 3年，美国2年半A/E （Architecture &
Engineering）作urban planning and urban design。去年3月被lay off，转读会计，
Post-Bach, 今年年底毕业。有绿卡。通过老公关系跟这个KPMG的international
taxation director （我们当地公司）安排见面，向她了解关于会计尤其是税务方面的
职业发展前途，尤其针对我的背景将来的发展。见面之后甚是气馁。
首先，我的感觉是光有个ACCOUNTIN的背景基本上没有什么优势。TAX depart下面四个
group，两个group关于international tax，另外两个group是fed tax，跟state and
local tax。具体忘了，其中两个group 70%的人是lawyer，或者有law degree，另外两
个group 20%是lawyer。从事Consulting |

没办法转public accounting,没办法做corporate tax,corporate general accounting
,如果运气好能转financial reporting就不错了。。如果不能转行的话internal
auditor最多升到manager..没有可能再升了，总不会让一个外国人做audit committee.

模，并不承诺转正，只是有这种可能性。作为fresh graduate积累经验很好，但是如果

我想问问我是应该拒了这个intern，破斧沉舟的找full time呢，还是先接下来再说。

都不是特别理想的，所以在纠结。
一个是local CPA 公司一月到四月的intern，要四月份以后才知道给不给full time，
给不给sponsor。
另外一个是个industry的full time，给sponsor。
～两个公司都不大，50个人左右。CPA公司的感觉比industry好，也挺正规的，不过和
四大什么的不能比。以后想再申请到四大去镀镀金，所以觉得有CPA intern的工作经验
很重要。有想过不要full time，去intern。
～刚刚在版上发现大家找工作的找的挺好的，说现在形势变好了，才开始担心如果CPA
公司5月份决定要我，6，7月份再申请H1B之后会不会没有配额了。如果CPA公司决定不
要我了，而且四大又只能等到9月份再申请，那我H-1B就更没谱了。
现在各种纠结。寻求各位的建议！谁知道tax season 四大还招不招人啊？还有如果只
有半年full time经验，四大还会不会要啊？ 万分感激！！！ |

partnerships. They probably send out hundreds of thousands of K-1's every
year. Just making changes to the K-1 addresses for those shareholders who
moved is a daunting task. But PTP experience can be very useful, because
there are a lot of partnerships out there.
International tax is very interesting to do. There is more analyzing case/
business transactions and apply proper tax treatment, hence less number

---如果淘宝卖gleim 17th edition的书三本的话，那可以书和题库都在淘宝买。我是
先从gleim官网买的书，之后我只在淘宝里搜有没有题库来着。mm可以自己搜一下淘宝
卖不卖书。貌似我找的那个淘宝卖家不邮寄国外还是邮寄费特别贵，我忘记了。反正我
是让卖家寄到国内我妈家，然后我妈帮我寄过来，我妈邮寄3本题库的航空邮费大概400
多人民币。淘宝里题库3本卖的也是400多人民币（不包括邮费）。gleim官网买3本书貌

利于掌握大的框架。trade方面可以看看Feenstra的书，international finance可以看
看obstfeld and rogoff的书。这个international finance里面，一大堆puzzles（参
看obstfeld and rogoff那篇6个puzzles的文章），我以前读的时候大体的印象是，把
RBC之类的closed economy宏观模型延伸到open economy中，发现很多现象解释不了，
称之为puzzle。好些研究就是围绕几个主要的puzzle进行的。前几年也兴起了一阵国际
金融投资方面的（宏观）portfolio研究。 |
