四个月每个月的帐单都往上涨价啊，终于受不了了，打电话把电视给停
了，然后一通complaint，终于同意给一个每月$39.5（一年contract）
的internet only方案，速度最高可达24M.
现在单开A家的网络，最低的3M都直接报价$50；另外一家cable公司T
给的internet only的报价也已经达到$60了。实在是很黑的。
我的个人经验就是，A家的性价比还是比T强一些。节省成本的办法是：
先开电视＋网络套餐，省掉初装费并且在有deal的时候可以拿到$200的
gift card；等6个月过了，就开始打电话complaint，最后要一个带一
年合同的internet only plan。 |

那时侯, Chinese.txt不但无法上视频, 连贴一张照片也得用attachment. 那时侯,还没
有马甲一说,所有人在网上都得裸奔.即使用了个笔名,真实的email地址还象狐狸尾巴一
样跟着呢.
由于全世界写中文的人只有一个厕所,Chinese.txt,打架是难免的.其中最著名的架要数

internet之前,苹果有固定的市场,价高物美的mac靠简易的操作系统本身吸引了不少
macheads,美国大中小学电脑中心里mac到处都是
internet兴起之后,很多人发现电脑只有一个用途:用browser上网,电脑本身和操作系统
的好坏无关紧要,大部分人放弃了昂贵的mac,选择了低价的PC
ipod成功起于2004年圣诞之前, 是napster被法院关闭的直接受益者, 本身机子很烂,技
术根本比不上palm当时的PDA,只不过苹果是个极品毒贩子,精于赚脑残人的钱, 搞了个
itunes,让美国大部分脑残人民和青少年可以轻易的付钱吸到毒品,以此占领了市场
让我心服口服的倒是iphone.当初iphone样品在macworld第一次展出来时,把所有华尔街
分析师给惊呆了.iphone设计之完美在科技界可以说是无以伦比的 |

台式机B, 有Ethernet Adapter, Wireless Apapter, Vista
我用根网线把这两个台式机连起来。
在B里，Control Panel->Network and Internet Connections ->Network Connections
->Properties->Advanced
Check "Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s
Internet connection".
原来以为这样A就可以上网了，结果一看，连B都不能上了。
那位大拿给说说，这样咋整?谢谢！ |

个server没法access internet的，但是firewall block list 显示有程序在这个db
server上企图access internet. firewall 的msg 是这样的：
Deny tcp src db:10.X.X.X/4605 dst outside: xx.xxx.xxx.xx/80 by access-group

我们也没在用analysis/report service, 我也找不出那个程序。请问这里的朋友有没
有碰到过类似的情况，可以告诉我怎么查到那个想access internet的程序。谢谢！ |

发帖数: 47 | 37 之前问了关于BGP的一些问题。 今天有点意识到自己以前主要做LAN这块，对于外面的
internet，知之甚少。以前虽说LAN也有链接到ISP，但那个就是简单的一条default
route。
现在的公司是做video telecom, service都是跨地区，跨国家的，为了保证整个
service 的质量，好像要求我们对整个internet有更深入的了解，不能像以前那样，只
管接入，其他都不管了。比如数据中心的一些基本知识，专有线路，带宽，internet里
的路由啊。。。
突然感觉要学很多东西啊。希望各位能指点一下方向，给些参考，或者推荐些书。

今天在家试了 crossover cable, wired, switch, router, two wifi
adapters...
用 crossover, 和 switch 连 computer and roku, roku 都不能自动
拿到 ip.
我 shared 了 wifi(internet) connection, its ip (192.168.1.xxx)
如果我 shared 了 wifi, LAN ip 自动改为 192.168.0.1
我在另一 router dhcp ip 从 192.168.0.200 开始， 接起来后
roku ip 是 192.168.0.200， lan router ip 192.168.0.2
电脑 192.168.0.1。 但是在 roku 那边去不了internet...
下面的好象比较接近，
computer has wifi and lan, wifi connect to wan (192.168.1.xxx)

after you step by step following installation wizard, you are able to surf
internet.
If you have two people(PC) share internet by using hub, you should not install
that cd. O/W, one of guy can't surf internet.
Maybe they change their policy now.
another posibility is they haven't activate your service. You don't have IP
address even if you have cable modem. Call them to make sure.

I was very happy with it in the first one month. However, recently, my laptop
do get signal. (I mean, the little icon on the right bottom cornor shows that
it connected to xxxxxxxx with 54Mbps.)
