不到这句话了。就google了一下，有个纽约的网站也这么说。
A driver approaching an intersection must yield the right of way to traffic
already in the intersection.

如果已经看到警车啥的了，当然无论如何得pull over或者停下来。
但如果没看到警车，又还没到intersection，也来不及去路边pull over(因为快到
intersection了)，如何处理呢？
可以就这样停在路上么。。。。算block traffic不？
另外，如果听到警笛，自己在左边lance上，但发现警车在右边lane的后方，离车子很
近，
应该没必要去右边lane了吧？因为这样反而把警车的道挡了？ |

1/31送老大去学钢琴，本来都已经迟到了， 一不留神错过了左转的出口，毛焦火辣中
突然看到前面有个口子， 马上打起左转灯， 一到就转了。哪知刚转过来就见后面警灯
闪闪, 心里暗叫一声"倒霉", 把车靠边等着. 然后警察就上来说, do you know left
turn is not allowed at that intersection? 我说没看到有No Left Turn的sign啊.
他一边写ticket一边说, 您到法庭上跟法官说去吧: Improper left turn/U-turn ...
这下就更迟到了...回家后越想越没对, 这个路口我每周都要进出好多次(主要是右拐)
, 怎么就从来没记得有不让左转的标记呢? 改天又从西向东走了一遭, 确实没有sign.
然后到附近类似的有中间隔离带的6-lane路上跑了一下, 哈哈! 凡是不让左转或U-turn
的地方都有sign! 随后拍下几张相片不表.
转眼到了ticket上的出庭时间. 冒着损失200刀一小时的危险到了city court, 好几十

了。法律要求你靠边停，不管emergency vehicle从哪个方向接近你；如果在十字路口
，继续开过十字路口然后靠边停。

是指别提早进入intersection, 这与左转完全无关, 意思

后面说的"making a quick left turn in front of oncoming traffic"是指
左转的时候别不让对面来的车.
哪里有您说的左转时不能进路口?
当然, 您要非说我的中文不过关, 您只是说"田纳西严禁提前走出来",
其实意思不是说田纳西左转时不能进路口.
那我只能说, 您这么说话太忽悠人了.

警察亲自解释比你这和警察打了八年交道的解释要权威吧.

请检查你们州的法律，左转的检查观察了直行的路权，确认没有问题后可以正常行驶。
因为进入Intersection，后来的直行车辆，不管是否红绿灯，都要检查intersection的
路权，没有完善检查导致撞上当然是 fail to yield。
你说的stop sign，同样的道理：如果stop不停进入intersection，直行车需要yield。 |

个30好几的老大爷。运气真的很好，所有题目都不难。
概略：从本科到PhD一直念的EE。PhD毕业后没怎么找工作就直接到一个小型research
lab做networking research待了2年多。2014年初第一次Google试水，挂在onsite上了
。到了下半年这几家的recruiter开始陆续contact我，想想也差不多是时候换一下环境
了，就安排了感恩节前一周三个电面。电面除了G都非常顺利。G的电面我自己作死，面
完觉得必须挂的。谁知道过完感恩节那周竟然三家都收到onsite通知了。当时的想法是
避免战线拖太长，所以把三个onsite都安排在元旦后第一周。计划利用圣诞／新年长假
养精蓄锐好好复习，然后一鼓作气搞定。现在回头看，这个策略这次发挥的非常出色。
三家onsite都发挥的非常好，据说feedback都不错，最后都拿到了offer，包裹也都挺
不错的（G > L > F）。
准备：我一直不认为临急抱佛脚似的突击能有多大用处。所以准备时间比较长，可以算

我刚才在网上查到，如果吃到ticket的话，可以request a Trial by Written
Declaration。我的问题是像我这种没有ticket但是又citation的也可以request by

面。但是左转车很肉，绿灯变黄再变红都没敢转，结果把四个方向的车都堵了。楼主心
急之下发现对面没车，于是从左转车左边绕过去让了逆行道，再别到左转车前面扬长而
去。
这显然是楼主的错，1. 左转车进intersection停了，自己就不应该进去，老老实实在线
后等前面的车clear了再走；2.逆行道超车更是危险，除非楼主开的是18轮，否则视线肯
定或多或少被阻挡一部分，楼主这是拿自己小命开玩笑；3.左转车在intersection里面，
自己车最多也就小半个身子在里面，不会阻挡横向的车，没有路权，红灯了还要前行是
典型的闯红灯。总而言之，闯红灯&逆行，100刀算是便宜的了

Ted Williams Parkway, between I-15 and Highland Ranch Road, is a 6-lane

101 is bad in traffic for sure, especially during evening rush hours.
237 is horrible in traffic, especially at the intersection with 880.
85 is bad in traffic too, especially in the intersection with 280.
280 is bad in traffic, at the intersection of page mill and 85.
It seems Central express way is the only good major road from South bay to
Peninsula, with less traffics? Anyone disagree? |
