because they have a complete frame of storyline before they start shooting,
the plot can be more intricate.
american shows... on the other hand, are not based on real literary works
but a small pilot script. most of them do not have a storyline and totally
depend on the creativity of the writers later... and one story has to be
compressed into 43 minutes... like csi... it's difficult to use complex
stories or intricate plots |
