What Manhattan's north end looks like? Unlike Battery Park, this island's

首先祝大家Happy New Year。小妹第一次在这个版发言，请大哥大姐们多多包涵。
我是个干了6年活的码工。第一代移民，tier 3大学BS/MS，成绩工作都还算过得去，不
是最差那种，但也不是出类拔萃，没得过成就奖之类的荣衔，也没出过paper。
现在做了6年苦工感觉仍是原地踏步，职称没有升，workload有增但responsibility似
乎没有，领导也没有培养做PM或promote上principal级的意图，自我感觉仍是个可有可
无的小工。
现在想回校深造，但不知这条路是否可行和值得，求建议。
详细说说我的实际情况。
我来自中国大陆的小地方，父母没上过大学也不懂英文，不是出身富有人家。高三那年
