极乐观，说话也幽默风趣。虽然我们是去请教问题的，但是没有人喜欢对方愁眉苦脸的
过来，倒豆子，这样别人被问完后总是会带走一些负能量。
所以我觉得问问题的技巧，一是尽量避免拿鸡毛蒜皮的事情打扰人家，二是问之前挑选
一下，只问别人对方能够帮得上的问题。比如有些对大环境的不满和自己的痛苦，如果
对方没可能帮忙的，就忍住不问。虽然说人家可以安慰自己，但其实安慰人挺累的，人
家会觉得被当成垃圾桶。三是自己一定要对这份工作有极大的热情，对生活乐观，不能
光报忧不报喜，不断告诉别人你的进步，成就。否则人家觉得我已经尽了这么大的力你
怎么还是一团糟呢？人家就泄气了。（其实还有第四，就是自己对别人尽量intriguing
，让别人每次和你接触，从你的经历和感悟中他自己也受启发也长知识就好了。不过这
个太难就不要求了。）

丧气的事情，所以我的苦水啥的一般都是倒在这个网上，尤其是那几个俱乐部（因为不
是那么多人能看见）。但是在同事面前我的确是嬉皮笑脸的时候比较多。
不过高妹说的非常有道理的一点是请教问题的时候要尽量避免提一些对方无法给你解决
的事情，比方说，啊，为什么grant 这么难拿啊！为什么我的文章又被拒啦！为什么学
校这么不公平啊！这类的话。因为这些事情，就象高妹说的那样，对方也帮不上你，你
给人家倒这些苦水只会让人家心情也跟着难受。当然，这个不是说不能提相关的事情，
而是必须具体，具体到能让对方提意见的地步。比方说，假如grant 没有拿到，那么你
可以拿着审批的意见去咨询资深faculty, 问他们那些意见有没有什么弦外之音，是否
有改进的希望，以及如何改进才能提高，而不是单纯的抱怨社会上如何的缺乏伯乐。不
然的话一般人心里本来就够多负能量的了，那还有那么多心思来听更多的负能量啊？
至于负能量往哪里倒？网上啊，微信啊。

I called the 401K administrator, and they told me if you own the stock/fund
on a certain date when they pay the dividend, then you'll get it. If not
then you won't.
As for the price of the underlying issue, I once monitored a dividend-paying
stock and the price dropped by the amount of the dividend afterward. I'm
guessing that it would work somewhat same for mutual funds.

restrictions applied makes such an insurance pretty much useless. It is NOT
