and the concentration is very low, so my geiger counter can't detect a
significant difference. Unless, I take it to the lake daily, which is a lot
of trouble. Alternatively, I'll just drink water and test my thyroid
everyday. I don't drink milk. I don't expect the numbers to spike up. If it does, I'll need to move somewhere else or drink only bottled water or water stored for 2+ weeks...

到底会不会对美国西海岸有影响，不要说什么肯定不会，现在没人敢打包票，过一周万
一突然宣布说有一定影响，哭都哭不出来。
我今天在seattle跑了一天找那个碘片(Potassium iodide），网上全部sold out，你去
amazon搜搜就知道了，几种含量达到要求的(130mg每片)全部没货。Nukepills.com推荐
的一种口服液替代品，据说效果差不多，我订了4盒，但是看情况也要一周之后才会寄
出来，可能来不及了。
不是说完全没有，还有几个其他牌子的，但是含量都极低(每片只含几十Mcg，但是要求
是每日服用>130mg).
然后我中午跑了几家pharmacy store，全部没货，有一家给我说他们收到几百个电话要
订这个，但是他们也没货，现在正在看有没有supplier有，但是给我说不要抱太大希望
，八成都没有。
不要说我阴谋论，我觉得不太像自然售光，这消息才出来几天？又是周末。这么快就全
美国没货了（不晓得其他地方有没有，反正网上我是找不到了）？以前sars的时候买口
罩，起码amazon还卖了一段时间的。 |

Iodate (KIO3) tablets. A simple fix...
If no tablets available, you can topically (on the skin) apply an iodine
solution, like tincture of iodine or Betadine, for a similar protective
