As I prepare to watch Hosni Mubarak give his speech, I’m wondering what
Chinese President Hu Jintao of China is thinking these days. Tahrir Square
today is so reminiscent of Tiananmen Square in 1989, which I also covered —

现在已经有混乱，但是好像国际媒体早已经开始用Hu Jintao了。
但是Hu Jintao大家知道，如果是Wang Xiaoer估计会带来confusion，外国读者会不会
认为Xiaoer是family name?
另外是不是考虑规范统一二字以上名字，拼音中加－？比如Hu Jin-Tao? 因为中国人名
字的两个字是有文化含义的，比如锦是辈分，涛才是名字，而Jintao就分不清了。

所以也是Jin Tao Hu，出门办事，要show ID的时候，人家经常记录成Jin T Hu，每次
都要解释。
本来以为美国人给老中都是这么处理签证拼写的，结果前几天发现有朋友签证上是
Jintao Hu，后来进一步找别的朋友验证，有个朋友有两张签证，第一张是Jin Tao Hu
，第二张是Jintao Hu。感觉有些随机啊。
请问大家这这么处理才能让签证做成Jintao Hu，以避免下次签证Jin Tao Hu现象发生 |

我有四五张美国签证了，每张上名字都是Jin Tao Hu，然后DMV办驾照严格根据签证，
所以也是Jin Tao Hu，出门办事，要show ID的时候，人家经常记录成Jin T Hu，每次
都要解释。
本来以为美国人给老中都是这么处理签证拼写的，结果前几天发现有朋友签证上是
Jintao Hu，后来进一步找别的朋友验证，有个朋友有两张签证，第一张是Jin Tao Hu
，第二张是Jintao Hu。感觉有些随机啊。
