上了好几次课了，教了salsa, hustle,rumba基本布
rumba学得比较好，感觉重心完全交换很重要
11月有个bronze得比赛，如果能找到舞伴就去参加一下
好想学jive啊，好欢快啊，

They look good together. They performed all five dances
- 30's flappy samba
- paso with gypsy costume
- a rumba, in which max first appeared in a Arabian head scarf.
Beata worn a sea blue dress, and the lyrics has something to
do with the sea.
- chacha to a song named "Relax, Max"
- jive, with hiphop clothes and some break dance.
I like the samba and the paso the best.

个人的观点，交际舞在舞厅中跳，与参加交际舞比赛，及交际舞表演，这三者有本质上
的区别的。一，在舞厅是以享受自我为主，而且无法限制在舞厅跳舞的人数，所以交际
舞老师是以较基本动作和花样为主。通常在舞厅放的舞曲长于比赛时舞曲，周围又经常
有其他舞友干扰，所以以花样变化为主，而且很多花样是通用的，如可用再chacha，
rumba，sumba和jive等，对舞曲的理解和动作的标准要求不大，只要好看和能踩准节拍
即可。二，交际舞比赛，每次参加的人数按场地的大小有标准要求，对跳舞的运动方向
，舞步（比赛用舞步），动作（规定动作）也都有比较严格的要求。所以参加交际舞比
赛的（偶有在舞厅也可见他们练习）极注重他们的跳舞时运动路线和方向，舞步的准确
，动作的标准，反之对花样的多少和繁简要求不高，有几个特色动作即可。所以我们观
看交际舞比赛时，可发现选手的花样不多，但运动方向，比赛舞步和规定动作是每个舞
者都必做的。若在舞厅跳就不是很合适了，比赛是简单中看水平，舞厅跳是快乐中不断
有新鲜感 |

placed in First place in Samba and Jive at last weekend's local small
competition, it was small, but we went through quarter, semi and final and
placed first, very encouraging and felt getting paid back for hard working,

with karina (or even leunis). i entered into the scene much later than you
gals. in the summer of 2006, they already split, before i set my eyes on
latin dancing. I don't hear gossips, which may have allowed me simply '
objectively' watch his dancing. and i've got impressed.
by the way, what is people's general comment on karen hardy? i have no idea
about her dancing but followed the blog and saw her jive with watson - i |

Yulia and riccardo got placed one unanimously.
Other interesting things are:
i always feel eugene and maria's rumba is their worse dance; they are better
at fast-paced dances. and it's confirmed on the score sheets. For the other
4 dances, the placing mode is 2, but for rumba the mode is 3 -- have to
count 1-3 total to determine the placing.

loop给剪掉。周三，他跳前几轮时，一直穿着这件摩登衬衣，到final才换。
中国的赵亮paso，rumba都进了前12，陆宁rumba和jive也进了前12。 |

我跳拉丁习惯加动作填碎拍, 转到blues显得很多余
还有像jive的韵味就和east-coast swing有差别，每次都会被笑 >.<

这个Swing Club将在Monday, January 25th at 8:30 PM开始第一次课，直至五月份学
期结束，每周一晚8点30分开始，地点在New Brunswick （Douglass Center）。
教授并练习各种摇摆舞，包括East coast swing, West coast swing, jive, blues,
lindy hop等。是由美国学生主导的一个club，会费一学期只有$5。
不需要学生ID，也不需要gym membership。校外人士皆可参加，任何时候你参加的第一
次课可以免费，然后再觉得是否交会费继续参加。
觉得挺好的一个club，推荐给有兴趣的童鞋。需要更详细的信息可以发信给我。 |

waltz有帮助，对tango帮助不大。
总之对比较慢比较柔的舞蹈有帮助，对需要爆发力的舞蹈可能还有反作用，就是让人觉
得太软了，没力气。不够sharp.
但是对平衡和旋转会有帮助。 |

Not sure how R&Y won. But it seems to me that the third place Samba finish
was very costly for M&J. Obviously Jive's first place was given to R&J.
I feel that Formica is the best male dancer in the final. His body is more
expressive than Riccardo's. Riccardo is very good, but not great. Well, we
need sensualgirl to comment.
Not too much time was given to bottom three couples. :) |

他实际个头比video里面矮小些，video里面看起来很高。 Slavik比他个头高大很多，
他比Riccardo高一些。 我想起来， 去
年看blackpool时我跟Melinda合影了， 是wu175帮忙给拍的照片，我跟melinda一样高
。 难怪今天他让我跟他演示twist
时， 我觉得高度搭配很合适， 呵呵 :D
他比我想像的要沉稳， 看他以前的video里， 尤其是他跟melinda跳amateur时， 显得
很年轻气盛加浮躁的样子。可能现
在年龄大些，成熟些了。 这些level的人，基本功都很扎实， 看得出训练有素， 加上
天分， 不难想像跳到世界级level。

I want to learn the guy's moves, and dance in suit! Believe me, it will be
fun, smooth and hot. Ladies' upper body movement tends to be restricted in
ballroom dances, unlike pop jazz and hip-hop; but guys' are not!

异地说。Franco肯找Olga跳还是挺招人待见的，算是不以年龄取舞伴，但是结果我也不
乐观。不过他们好像还是决定在一起跳得。Oxana这次貌似22/23了，好像jive更前paso
更后。记得Donnie说过，一个finalist的男的找个100女的，还是finalist.一个
finalist的女的找个100男的，就变回100了。好像还真是这么回事，让人失望啊。 |
