老挝地方媒体《万象时报》(Vientiane Times)今天发表文章说，中国计划修建东
南亚高速铁路网的计划引爆了沿线国家对建材的需求。文章中说，老挝国内已经出现水
泥供应紧张，预计今年将进口至少350万吨水泥才能保证南亚高铁老挝段的顺利建设。
报道中援引老挝最大建材生产商Lao Cement Production Group副总经理Inpone
Phathananoulack的话说：“老挝国内目前仅有6家水泥生产商，即使开足马力生产也无
法满足南亚高铁老挝段建设的需求。”他说：“项目施工方已经通知我们需要购买大约
350万吨水泥，我们根本没有能力办到。”
中国老挝和泰国已经决定投资70亿美元修建连接云南和曼谷的高速铁路，这条总长
421公里的高铁是中国修建东南亚高速铁路网计划的一部分，该工程将于今年4月动工计
划2015年建成。
为了降低运输成本项目施工方希望在老挝本地采购水泥，虽然目前老挝国内水泥产
量有限但质量已经达到国际标准可以满足高铁建设需求。
