boys in the 1980s while assisting with youth ministries at a church targeted
in a child sex abuse lawsuit.
Nathaniel Morales, who had been working as a pastor in Nevada, is accused in

Meditation can help us keep mindful in our daily life, disattach to whatever
is happening.
If do not know how to keep mindful, the alternative is transferring
our focus onto other objects, which can make us more concentrated,
an interesting thing.
To accept what is happening now is another way, even better than the above.
Because when we accept it, the unhappy feeling/stuff will leave us much

还是无法理解和想象。
一个桌子椅子或者尺弯曲/CURVED，可以理解和想象。可是，时间空间，这种咋个弯曲
法哦。。。。想象不出来哦。。。。。
这本书里虽然作者说他的对象是SMART HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT OR LAYMAN，但是关于物
理的部分我都没看懂。。。。。可能我还是需要看傻瓜版的，就是那种quantum

至于下棋，听听对下棋真正的layman的心声吧......
平生admire任何会下棋的人，无论水平高低，一概神乎其计，比爱因斯坦牛顿还
要难以理解...... 唉，起因是小时候我父或出于开发智力计，还是做父亲的对
自己的小孩一开始总有奇异的幻想，从中国象棋教到围棋，(他自己只会中国象
棋，我找不到感觉总是赢不了就不肯学。于是便想着改成他也不会的围棋，结果
不成才的人还是不成材......)我倒是把他买的那几本花花绿绿的日本人写的围
棋入门书象看连环画一样的看完了，......因为那些卡通人物实在是很有趣....
..对那些下棋还是一点感觉都没有，那幺大的棋盘永远觉得无从下手，每一点对
我来说都一样......可怜的父亲只好悻悻然收起培养天才少年的想法......
所以永远不明白，国际象棋里挺王前兵还是别的什幺兵为什幺就成了不同的布局
呢？下棋不是要下很多步吗，好似跑马拉松般，第一步就这幺重要吗？好象围棋
，那幺大的棋盘，不理解为什幺把子落在星位上怎幺就成 |

Qfabic is a new network architecture from Juniper which makes the whole data
center behave as if it were one giant switch.
There are 3 componets to QFabric: Node, Interconnect and Director. To take
the analogy of a typical Chassis-Switch, the QF/Nodes are the line card in
chassis, The QF/Interconnect is the Switch Fabric and the QF/Director is the

internet connection work, and no problem to read webpages.
according to the ASUS' setup instruction, after open a web page, a login
page will appear automatically, then you can set up new password.
but login page did not appear during my setup.

Mac OS. I prefer ThinkPad T/W series (but I cannot invest too much on it,
or I may buy a mid-range spec ThinkPad and a Mac Mini)
What hardware affects VMWare performance the most?
Harddrive? RAM? CPU?
If it's RAM, how much is sufficient?
T450s has one 4GB RAM soldered and can take another up to 16GB (total 20GB).
Only 8GB will be dual channel
T550 can have 8GBx2 dual channel

0，在学校就考过CPA，虽然进来的position是最junior，但是做事有模有样，税表弄得
很漂亮。
也有熬了两年升senior，但是还是笨得要死，连state的tax department和IRS都分不清
，跟他说了还不解，说不是都叫做IRS吗？靠，layman就算了，一个在CPA firm做事的
人还这样，当场都晕了。
所以我对Big 4这种以年资而不以能力做为评价的系统不见得百分百赞同。不过这是另
外一个话题。

side effect. Not trying to frustrate Prof. Liu, only layman comments, if i

重要的工作。從來沒有人談論愛因斯坦、楊振寧發了多少文章或者拿了多少funding吧
。就算次一點
的，陳景潤、華羅庚、馮康做了什麼工作我們也是知道的。
有沒有人給我們用Layman的語言科普一下，施一公主要的科學貢獻是什麼？ |

of infection caused brain damage--or at least an inducing factor, based on
the acute nature of the diseases and the identification of virus and
bacteria in the blood. Genetics alone may not be this sudden, would be more
progressive...And given the symptoms, there seems lots of brain damage
happening/happened and I think the recovery if possible will take long time
