的时候基本不哭。儿子会说中文，不太会说英文。这个学期（从1月5日开始）第一周完
全没哭，表现非常好，但是从第二周开始每天送的时候都哭。
第二周开始，我们所知道的学校里发生的事件包括：
1. 有一次在教室里磕到了桌脚，我去接的时候才看到incident report，当时Leading
Teacher已经走了，Assistant Teacher说Leading Teacher说她已经给我打电话留言了
，但我并没有收到留言。当时看孩子伤得不算严重，问清楚情况是自己跑得太快磕到的
，就事后没有再提及此事。
2. 又一次去接的时候，Assistant Teacher说因为孩子总把自己格子里的东西pull－
out出来，所以他们把孩子的格子换到了高处。我回头碰到Leading Teacher时，我主动
提起了这事，并表示如果孩子违反rules请告诉我们家长，我们会在家里配合教育他的。
3. 班里貌似又来了三个新同学，同时可能走了一两个老同学。

The bidding is rough, especially for the final 6S. The 5H bid takes away the
room for key card, and everyone has to guess. I personally don't like 5H,

作经验了，进来后我基本都是小心翼翼，自觉干活速度也不慢。但是前几天我在我座位
上听见lead和另外一个老engineer在我旁边聊天，说我一个东西做了一星期。我当时听
了有点不是滋味，因为
第一，那东西lead前前后后给了新的需求，其实对他的每个新需求我都是一两天就
deliver了
第二，我做那东西的同时还在做其它的项目，他显然把我做其它项目的时间也算进去，
显得好像我花了一周只做了一件事情
跟lead聊天的那个老engineer我还没交流过，lead跟他聊天也有点非正式向他介绍我的
意思，因为过几天我要和这位老engineer一起做一个新项目，有些技术细节lead想让那
个老engineer帮下我。平时lead对我也没啥（至少目前）为难的，有时开组会时会说我
did a nice job之类的。不知道是我多心还是这个lead确实对我有啥想法，需要我警觉

那次trip给leader belay了很多次，差不多每条线都belay，但是搭档说我belay得不好
，给绳不够及时；那时候我TR记录是10a
后来某次出门爬也意思了一下lead了个5.6
在gym拿到lead certification是去年十月，上了个lead课，后来也没怎么lead，因为
没有搭档；而且我很惊恐，很怕leader fall
这次去red，跟着pink 第一次lead了我的户外5.7，紧张得不行磨蹭很久终于上去了，
开心
后来每天刷一下记录直到第四天到11a
终于觉得自己可以出门lead了一些线了（仅限single pitch sports）....

发帖数: 40 | 14 这两周集中练leading，每次去gym至少lead三四条线。今天没找到人给我lead belay，
只好爬top rope。两个半小时爬了8条线，以前做不出来的动作，尤其是overhang的动
作，居然很轻松做出来了，呼吸控制也比以前好了。
觉得只有lead的时候，脚上的动作会特别稳，读路线的方法也不一样。而且累的时候都
push得比较狠。我现在如果只爬toprope基本回家没感觉，爬leading回家累得不行，不
过两周的时间确实有了质的改变。
去年的这个时候我买了gym的年卡，开始从一周爬一次改成一周爬两次，过了一段以后
就觉得5.10简单，开始爬5.11。这个season自从第一次出outdoor爬被狂打击，一个5.9
+都不能lead onsight。回来就开始lead比较多了，自然而然力量和流畅程度就上去了
，现在觉得5.11也不难了。嗯，一点心得跟大家共勉 |

昨天，是俺第一次在gym lead，真是深切体会lead和tr的区别之大啊，呵呵
尤其，有一条路线，在lead区和tr区交界，可以lead也可以tr
lead，自然失败了，回头去tr，直接对比，回想，嗯，tr的时候，很多crazy动作
比如高抬腿，比如微小的点match foot，比如明知没有100％把握也大胆push自己
站起来，这些crazy动作，在lead根本没法完成，加上overhang的时候clip的难度
二者相差太太太大了，只有lead了，才检验了自己的动作，tr是糊里糊涂地混过去
的move就好比平常抄人作业考试抓瞎一样没用了，嗯 |

每个gym都不一样吧。
我这里要求上lead课的时候最少能confidence with 5.10a.
考试的时候是最低lead一条5.10a的线，没有错误。
miss clip, back clip, take, fail，没意识到rope behind feet.都不行。
通过考试才能lead，通过lead belay才能belay lead,然后follow。
开始以为那个比较短的5.10考试专用线是为了投机取巧，让大家容易通过考试。
现在才意识到，gym选那个线，不是考力量，而是考心细，不犯错误，
虽然短，但是各种情况都会出现。
应该5.10以上吧，往上提高有点瓶颈，就琢磨lead了。
而且gym里lead的线，只有2条5.9。 |

绍，上来提醒父母们当心孩子铅中毒。
lead poison会永久地，不可逆地损伤孩子的大脑，减慢发育，减弱大脑控制个人行为
的能力。已经有研究证明，lead poison能够导致ADHD和autism，当然不是所有autism
都是lead导致，但是我觉得置顶文章中第二个孩子很可能就是lead poison导致的。
前一段时间大量的玩具召回就是因为漆中lead含量超标，如果家里小朋友喜欢经常把非
食物的东西放在嘴里，大人就要注意了，因为含铅的东西尝起来味道微甜，小朋友一旦
发现甜味的东西，恐怕更要经常放在嘴里咬了。另外常见含铅的东西大家比较熟悉，比
如旧房子的墙皮，污染的鱼类贝类，一部分的vaccine等。
杂志中的那篇文章提到一个两三岁的小男孩，发育迟缓，行为异常，有暴力倾向，很难
控制自己的行为，诊断为ADHD，后来医生一查发现血液中的铅含量严重超标，而家里的

版上大牛很多，想请教如何成为lead。这里说的lead不是manager，TL。而是说的一个
area的lead
目前在G，组里以欧洲人，白人为主。60多人的大组。在组里待了2-3
年了，虽说逐步开始做点有意思的工作，但还是感觉酱油成分居多。
很难分到好的活，感觉好点的活都分给欧洲人，白人了。主要是在组里时间比较久的。
请教如何才能成为area lead，在组里比较有存在感

被油漆过,而且在inspection的时候告诉我basement的地毯下面也有石棉好像。另外我
网上查了说60年代的房子有lead paint。有几个问题：
1. lead paint怎么检测和去除呢？我看网上说有lead paint test kit，那个靠谱吗？
还是要找专业的人来检测一下呢？
2. Pop corn我准备找个contract去掉，一般可以和lead paint一起做吗？
除了以上的两个，还有什么需要注意的么？一般说的空气检测是不是就测这些？
3. 还有个问题，我们想在去除popcorn ceiling的时候一起把房顶加层insulation。据
说有种方法是房顶打个洞，吹什么insulation的材料进去，有做过的朋友吗？
有的说法是房子这么多年了，那些lead paint早就没了，不知道是不是。我们对健康隐

Diamond lead is clear. No point to lead a club (partner cannot have void
there), probably don't want to lead a singleton trump either. If partner
doesn't have HA, we are not going to take any heart trick. At the table I
will lead DA, hoping for another trick in trump (or less likely, in hearts).
But I have strong admiration for a low diamond lead, that is the best
chance to get 2 diamond tricks. |

好些情况不是刚学了lead的时候我就自动自己能处理的。比如
1. 如果一条lead的路线，上去以后发现太难，你不能到顶，怎么尽可能把尽量多的
gear取回来。知道自己可能不能到顶就带个bail binner
2. multi-pitch中间把唯一的atc掉下去了，你能不能不用保护器repel下来
3. repel的时候绳子各种情形地挂在树上，卡在石头缝里
4. 如何使用prusik
5. 就你和你的partner, 爬到一半突然意识到绳子中间过了belayer的保护器了
6. repel下去了才发现绳子够不到地
7. repel完了，把绳子抽出来了才发现绳子另一头的结忘了解开，卡在repel ring上了
8. 是否每次跟新的partner爬的时候确认climbing call
。。。。
这还光是sports lead。trad lead注意事项更琐碎

关于lead方面的东西，可以去上个lead 课，会教你如何clip，如何避免z clip和back
clip，以及绳子和腿的关系这些细节，还有，如何做lead belay
如果你有朋友能教你这些也行，不过还是建议去gym上个课
会了这些，如果还达不到室内lead的标准，可以在室外找简单路线lead |

但是为什么现在ice lead fall 那么多呢？鄙人的观察是：
1. 风气的问题，见［注一］，
2. 器材的改进，使得基本功不到位，动作不对也能玩得挺欢乐的。不象原来镐柄直，
没有护手托的情况，入冰动作稍有不对，一天下来轻点四个手指都成了胡萝卜，重则骨
关节都碎了。所以也别玩了。
3. 还有就是那些在人工浇筑的冰上的速度攀比赛的负面影响(Ouray, 北京桃源等地）
。速度攀比赛都是top rope climbing,各个点不是很稳也没有啥。新人看着比赛的人这
么爬，也就去瞎学，误以为攀冰就该这么爬，所以四点不靠谱地乱爬，速度倒是不慢。
但是顶绳这么爬习惯了，自以为可以了，要去lead,问题就出来了。

修改原料：
10 inch lead tape (1/2 inch wide), total 5g. Free from aakk123. 加在
frame 3/9 o'clock.
Fishing lead weight, 型号不知，$1.5/30个，总共2.2oz. 用掉4个。加在butt cap
里。
Nickel, 5g, 5 cents. 加在butt cap里。
棉花球，$1/100个。用掉1个。用来包裹lead weight. |

area的lead
目前在G，组里以欧洲人，白人为主。60多人的大组。在组里待了2-3
年了，虽说逐步开始做点有意思的工作，但还是感觉酱油成分居多。
很难分到好的活，感觉好点的活都分给欧洲人，白人了。主要是在组里时间比较久的。
请教如何才能成为area lead，在组里比较有存在感
