可以开始玩了。
早上老公带娃去learning home 溜达了一下，当时6、7点，可能早了点，据说娃第一反
应是害怕，这是什么东东？ 然后从上面摸了一块红色的啥往嘴里送，然后抓着它跟爹
爹游荡。
所以我觉得你如果再等两个月买也没啥。
对于learning kitchen我的理解是就是一个类似玩具，喜欢与否与性别无关。我们家的
还没开封。 |

思的讨论，我都快不记得SVM了，不过一直想试试weighted majority algorithms。关
于WA用在trading strategy上的论文还不少，我看了一些，都蛮有意思的，

这篇好像用了SVM结合WA，很简短，但是从它的结论看，最后的expert是很轻松地beat
best expert（in components）。这点我不怀疑，本来boost algorithm就是把weak
learner变成strong learner的。除非market是100% efficient，总是存在weak
learner的（better than coin toss）。

我勇dnn做过几个应用，感觉华而不实啊。而且，learn出来的model无法解释，
generalization的问题很大。用来炒股碰上一没见过的case只怕会外婆

Deep
reinforcement learning 把业余六段提升到职业九段。和以前对比，alphaGo在
reinforcement learning里把那些决策函数和评价函数都换成了neural network，而以
前这些函数大部分是线性函数。非线性的函数空间要大很多，评价函数也准确很多，肯
定比线性的要好。但是以前大家只用线性函数而不用neural net是因为之前的理论研究
指出非线性函数在converge上会有问题，很多人尝试都失败了。David Silver他们可能
是最早成功的，用了很多trick和hacky的办法让算法收敛了，于是就牛逼了。围棋和象
棋比不仅仅是计算力的问题，如果和IBM采用同样的策略，计算力的增长还比不过围棋
相比于象棋复杂度的增长。Monte Carlo tree search以及Deep reinforcement
learning的成果都很关键。 |

1. LP有一个学期是25%RA （PhD program），所以学费自己交了一半，学校cover了一
半。RA收入也是一半，数额与一半的学费相当。RA收入是taxable，不过看精华区依然
可以用5000 treaty。
2. 都是resident alien. LP是第六年的F1（08年来的）
3. married filing jointly; Modified AGI < 127000, standard deduction
看了IRS的相关条款，好像并没有不符合的地方。不过听说Tuition deduction这种比较
容易被audit，所以想保险起见，求教哪里容易忽略而出问题？

另外好像两三千的学费支出的话，好像Lifetime Learning Credit比较划算？Lifetime
Learning Credit虽然叫Lifetime，但看条款说并没有规定只能用一次，而是可以
unlimited years? |

份就可以claim吧？ 有的地方写的只能claim一次，请问这个说法是不是准确（没找到
出处， 8863 form上part III line 23写的“Has the Hope Scholarship Credit or
American opportunity credit been claimed for this student for any 4 tax
years before 2014?”， 但没提这个Lifetime Learning Credit）。 我的情况是，去
年自己交了一千多的学费，可以拿回200多刀，但今年快毕业了有可能出去做intern然
后自己交好几千甚至上万的学费，所以如果只能claim一次，明年再claim就比较划算。
问题： Lifetime Learning Credit 是不是只能claim一次？如果是，是不是必须成为R
的第一年claim，还是可以在符合条件的任何时候都可以claim？

science的基础，也几乎没有读过Google的关于deep reinforcement learning和deep
learning方面的文章……也不知道他们去年和今年在NIPS上的最新进展……
我只是希望其他读者不要被误导了。Barto那本书绝对是RL里的经典，有兴趣的童鞋可
以去读一读，可以打下好的基础，避免一上来就出现走火入魔这种情况…… |

environmental cues are processed by the mind, not just a
study on whether the person is exposed to these cues or
