其中的这个关于孩子的legitimacy "you were legitimate"不知道是什么意思？朋友想
交申请表，但又怕关于孩子的legitimate这点没满足条件。我朋友和孩子他妈没有结婚
，孩子从出生一直由我朋友抚养，在出生公证上孩子的父亲也是我朋友。有懂法律的律

解釋，相當混亂，大家又知道我早前曾去羅馬，就都來問我能否為事件作出一些澄清。
其實去年十月汕頭莊建堅主教已收到教廷的指示，他請我幫他聯絡教廷。我托人親手把
他的信送去傳信部，又請傳信部部長轉交一份副本給教宗，不過我不知道那副本是否到
達教宗枱上。還好那時韓大輝總主教還在羅馬，他向教宗道別時有機會和他談了汕頭及
閩東的事，原來教宗並不知情，且答應韓總主教他會關注。

背景说一下：德州大学奥斯汀分校（其实是总校好不好）在收录学生的时候把种族当作
考虑因素之一，某白人MM被拒不爽，于是状告学校录取学生的做法种族歧视。
初级法院在案子没有上庭之前判定MM败诉（Summary Judgment)。
MM上诉，上诉法院维持原判，说根据以前最高法院的判决，虽然任何与种族歧视的政府
措施都要以所谓“严格审查”的标准来断定其合（宪）法性，但在教育问题上，因为
student diversity是一个正当而且非常重要的政府目标（legitimate and compelling
state interest)，法院会尊重大学自己来掌握分寸；除非学生能证明学校的作为不正
当（lacks good faith)，否则不会认为大学的招生措施违法。MM继续上诉到最高法院

不理解为什么棒子会舔泥哥。
在很多东欧国家比如波兰和保加利亚票房也非常惊人。同样不理解。
我估计很大程度都是跟风看热闹。
西非和东非的票房也都破纪录了，大约40万左右吧。
接下来是几个最大的国际票房，俄国，日本和中国。
好莱坞肯定很期待中国票房。我个人估计国内票房不会太好。如果中国票房真的很差的

所谓的diversity的重要性根本不足以弥补种族歧视带来的问题。他的意见包括了很多
当初华人的论点，以及一些华人群体提出的数据。他说diversity必须只能是得到教育
利益的手段，而不能被认为diversity自己本身就是个利益；学校说这个种族歧视是“
善意的”歧视，但他认为历史证明，这个世界上从来就没有任何“善意的”歧视。同时
，这个措施还直接造成了入学的黑人和西裔学生难以与白人和亚裔学生竞争的现象--录
取的时候分数差得很远，入学之后情况毫无改观，因为竞争总是落败而失去信心，不愿
努力，这TM又算是什么利益？又算是什么“善意”？而且，靠affirmative action被录
取的学生从第一天起就被印上了“劣等”的盖戳，这又有什么好处？因此我觉得这狗屁
不通的先例判决应该被推翻。但既然大家都说上诉法院错了，我也就顺一下大势。（不
得不说，这里面有些话只能黑人法官才能说，其他的法官是无法说这样的话的）。
