In your talk, you will need to prepare several slides (one or two slides are

everybody has a statement of research already? Avoid redundancy in the cover
letter with what is already said in your statement. In my experience, when
facing so many applicants, most people will look at the CV first, then the
research statement. Cover letter is the least important, and it's not worth
spending a lot of time and text on it.

Getting clearance for a foreign born, specially lived outside of US for
many years and had college education there, is a very lengthy process, and
most companies simply will not consider this option. I have run into a few
instances and different headhunters have told me similar stories. Of course,

别的offer了，也不一定会去你那儿。
然后我写了一封巨长的信给manager，第二天他们说base实在涨不了，如果涨了的话，
第二年review你就没机会再涨了，折中涨到sign-on上。我觉得也不错，就take offer
了。manager也很搞，他说我跟他当年用了一模一样的策略来的这个公司，大家都很
happy的笑了.

I apologize for the delay and miscommunication. Intel has to go through a

hires can take very long. A recent college graduate hired two years ago
took
six months to clear the approvals.
That being the case we will not be able to extend an internship offer at

So based on event loop model, theoretically node.js can be slower. But it
will consume much less memories and cpu powers. It is a good candidate for
an io intensive web app but not necessarily good for a cpu and/or memory
intensive app. Otherwise the queued callback events will make the concurrent
requests too lengthy.
