这行入门级别特别低，lic是个人就能考出来。
华人做这行的，大部分说白了就是没能力找不到工作，
又自己ZB觉得自己不能做餐馆之类的，就考了这个混日子。
当然有些做得不错的，所谓的千万经纪，
但是实质是如何，自个心里清楚，所有的钱都花在面上，
真实生活的质量过得普通人都不如。
结果给人看门的比门里主人还牛逼哄哄的。。。
动不动就私人飞机接受，豪华游轮，是你的吗？
理解这行要靠装逼博取信任的潜规则，
但是别装太大了。。。 |

没必要太在乎interview的规矩之类的，
毕竟除非废物公司，不然不会因为这些不要你的。。。
老是没有offer
也不要盲目去再考个什么lic啊，或者读个什么master之类的。
还是多问问你同行的牛人的意见，这样帮助最大。 |

现在不难理解密州为什么会one state recession。说到底，还是人啊。有一帮落后的
人，这个地方想不落后都办不到。前两天咱们还说immigrant是未来密州的希望。现在
人家就跳出来把希望赶跑。这个州还有救么？
有意思的是真正的illegal怎么看这个问题：

我说你自己先把这书看完了，不懂就google，再不懂再来问我。
算认识，不算朋友，基本不联系，这事情过了半年，我早忘了
他突然来了个电话，说他决定了，以后管我叫大哥，我说你怎么啦
他说他要学3d制作，当时avatar正好很火，我说3d我也不怎么会啊。。。
然后又问了一句，给你的2本书看完了吗，
答，没，还没翻过呢。。。

Astoria/LIC is one of the top commute areas for Bloomberg Bees.
I left Astoria after 2005. if you can walk to N,W trains (W, i heard is gone
now). Depends where you rent, it is 3, 4 or 5 stops away from 59/Lex. 15
min top.
try to get apt to the EAST of track. more established neighbourhood.
try to get at least 3 blocks away from tracks. less noise and less ped
traffic |

20-30
mins commute to Manhattan and hotels there close to MTA stations(5-10
mins
walk). Price range: > US$100
A Few listings in LIC, but keep in Mind, better have a few accompanies
if u
pick those hotels, since i personally think thats not really safe to
walk by
yourself to the hotels there.

eventually got a 2-star with $65/night. Close to subway station and couple
of blocks from the river. I'm happy enough :)

across East River, the only thing I don't like is it is too windy in the
winter. You can find grocery and paid monthly parking near these rental
bldgs. Also you can consider condo sublet in the neighborhood. Midtown
Manhattan is nice to live and easy to commute, however to keep a car you
will need to spend extra $$. |

They cannot stop crimes that are waiting to happen.
I can list some rationals behind their rush to duplicate another DUMBA like
zone, this time in Queens.
The proximity to Manhattan is big. They can use that to fool foreigner
moneys.
LIC acquisition is cheap.
Its hard to get similarly concentrated and joint large parcels in other area.
They started bulding at least a decade ago. Initial results were isolated,

Parking.
Also, there are a number of hotels (La Quinta, Days Inn, etc.) along Queens
Blvd (from LIC to Elmhurst) that offers parking and are near (within walking
distance to) the subway stations. The price are relatively reasonable, and
some even offers free breakfast.

reaching peak (2007). but you also need to pay attention that the rental
market of those hot area already passed historically high since March. So if
you are renting or planning to rent in those places, buying is still a
better option (not for short term investment).
for example, around the neighborhood I live now, new development one bed
with view was $500K avg back to 2009 (lowest point). Now is around 700K+.
