发帖数: 5610 | 7 每个州对工作经验的要求不一样。德州的好像在大学里教书的博士可以免考就给发PE
License的。硕士学位可以抵一年工作经验，博士就不知道了。
Petroleum的PE好像考的人不多, 一年只可以考一次。我以前考的是化工的。
Lindeburg本人是机械的背景，买他写的非机械PE的书要注意了。

我的背景：在中国念的四年本科结构专业，在国内有大概十年工作经验，在美国没有念
过书也没有工作过，准备在加州申请EIT。
1. 在http://www.bpelsg.ca.gov/applicants/eit_lsitapp.shtml看到three years or more of postsecondary (college-level) engineering education，我的理解是既然board没有强调必须在美国受到至少三年工程教育，并且没有强调需要ABET认证学历，那我通过FE后，用在国内的这四年本科教育背景不需要任何学历认证就可以在加州申请EIT，这样理解对不对？
2. FE上午考试只有一份试卷，下午会根据不同专业分若干种试卷，其中学结构的一
般选civil这个分项或者general分项,就是在http://ncees.org/exams/fe-exam/显示的other disciplines，对吗？

他什么书好用。
我是考general。如果你也是的话也用Michael Lindeburg的书的话
建议你先看他有答案的例题。然后对照着reference book看看公式在书的位置。然后再
看那章剩下题。试着先做。感觉复杂的话简单回忆一下公式然后直接看答案就可以了。
所谓的当不当回事情就小马过河了。 不至于现在担心但是我用30到40天一天3-4小时差
不多了因为很多专业外的内容不熟悉 |

章后面的习题对我来说挺难的，但是NCEES出的那本sample exam上面题目很简单，两个
难度相差好多啊。考题要是和NCEES的样题类似就好了。
我现在很头疼thermodynamics啊，ethics也麻烦，biology我整个就放弃了。 |

i did not read NCEES出的那本sample exam. should be similar as the real test
bah.
i went to another state to take the exam cause i did not want to pay degree
evaluation fee. i got up at 4 am that day, left home at 4:30 am, arrived the
place at 6:30 am. almost died when i got home at night. lol |

早一天住过去了。
谢谢信息啊，比lindeburg的书简单就好。我觉得上午的考试我不太担心，下午我考的
general，比上午难些，估计正确率也就60%的样子。要是180题每题算分的时候都是一
样的权重就好了。

no matter what kind of score it is. I hardly have time to prepare it. If I
could have another chance, I would spend more time on it.
But I felt in that afternoon I was lucky for not being impedded by the
difficult problems in Themodynamics listed in Lindeburge's review, which
totally destroyed my confidence in that part.
