发帖数: 4762 | 2 7月从黄石回来，在那边一共待了4个晚上，想特别说一下住宿。
住在黄石里面的，可以选择的就那么几个旅馆，南边grant village, old faithful
Inn/Lodge, 中间的canyon, lake lodge,roosevelt. 北边的mammorth.
我选择住old faithful 1晚上，mammorth 1晚，lake lodge 2个晚上，基本也符合我旅
游的路线。
首先，old faithful Inn是大家都推荐的，还有人说二楼的patio可以看见老忠实喷发
，所以必住。这个信息是没错，可是并不是这一个旅馆可以看见，另一个old faithful
lodge也有同样好的view. 还有那个snow lodge, 也可以看见，所以大家订的时候，这
3个都可以选择。无大差别。
lake lodge在湖边，是非常不错，省钱的人可以推荐，但是别指望木屋会很好。这个地
方的cafeteria我超喜欢，跟学校食堂一样，每天都菜不一样，价格还不贵，里面还有
几个中国MM在，不知道他们拿什么visa工作的？呵呵，好奇一下。

LODGE没厕所，但是便宜点。如果住在OF LODGE 2 天，帮忙看看下边的行程可以吗？那

8/29，早上从盐湖城出发，看铜矿，开车到jackson hole，住在motel 6
8/30，大提顿公园，然后进黄石，游west thumb，住OF LODGE CABIN（没有厕所）
8/31，早上CHECK OUT,向北开，开8字那一衡到CANYON, 游峡谷，然后向北边到Lamar
Valey 看动物，然后到MAMMOTH, 如果能找到泡温泉的地方就去泡会（
不知道9月了，是不是太冷了），向南开，游览NORIS， 然后继续向南，开到MADISON,
然后开OF， 驻of lodge cabin.
9/1，早上游OF，然后向南边开到黄石湖。然后到hayden valley看动物，驻canyon
lodge
9/2， 早上如果起得早， 再CANYON 看日出，然后开到黄石湖，出南

经过昨晚的一夜惊魂，饱饱睡了一觉后，觉得格外精神。我和lg7点多就爬起来了。早
上的黄石挺凉的，我穿了3件衣服，然后开车去fishing bridge附近转转。路上第一次
和bison近距离接触，还挺兴奋的。当过了fishing bridge向前一点的地方，有个小湖
，远方是yellowstone lake，身后是会冒烟的山。早上的空气里弥漫着草甸的气息，小
小trail里，野花静静的开着，倒伏在路边的枯木上青苔斑驳。bison安详的在小湖边上
吃草。周围除了我们没有别的人，林子里的鸟叫声此起彼伏，偶尔有松鼠，鼬等小动物
跑过。微风拂过脸庞，在那个早上我们深深的沉醉了，后来我们一致觉得那个早上的黄
石是最美的。不是咆哮的喷泉，不是七彩的大棱镜，而是一个沉静而清新的早晨，一种
不张扬的令人心安的美。后来bison大摇大摆的上了路中间，还专沿着路中央的黄线走
，这时双向都来车了，所有人都乖乖的等着牛大爷不慌不忙的散步。刚开始我还怕拍不

1. 刷到了canyon lodge的两个房间，一个在Canyon Lodge Premium Lodge，另一个在
Canyon Lodge Western Cabin，请问哪个更好一点？价格上讲premium lodge更贵，是
不是条件要好一些？
2.OF Snow Lodge Western Cabin 也有western cabin，是不是western cabin要更好一
些？
3. Lake hotel and cabins 和 lake lodge选哪个更好？
4. 大家是如何刷到两晚都在同一个地方的？按照目前的刷法，感觉只能一天一天的刷
，能找到一天都很难，但是看很多朋友都能刷到两晚在同一旅馆的
5. double size的床能睡两个大人吗？

Banff大概是绝大多数人进入Canadian Rockies的入口，如果是从Calgary开车出发的话
（Vancouver出发的话应该先进入Yoho）。Banff确实很美，至少我在刚刚进入Rockies
地区的时候就被路边的美景震撼了一下。不过我对Banff公园更深刻的印象，是Banff小
镇：整个Rockies地区吃喝玩乐购物娱乐的中心，要啥有啥，各种餐馆商铺应有尽有，

发帖数: 3857 | 9 我拍的泡泡池是Boyne Mountain比较旧的那个，全室外。在Clock Tower Lodge的前面
，所有住Resort里的人（包括Condo，cabin，loft)都可以去那个泡泡池。
Grand Lodge里还有一个新造的泡泡池，只给住Grand Lodge里面的人用的。
Clock Tower Lodge是Boyne Mountain里比较旧的旅馆房，每个房间住3-4人。 Condo和
Grand Lodge内部比较新，每个房间都有自己房间里的火炉和小泡泡池，当然气氛没有
大火炉大泡泡池的好。我们住的是3 bedroom的Loft Apartment （Condo的一种），$
450/夜，最多住9人，包lift tickets。前一个Xmas住过Clock Tower Lodge, $260/夜
，最多住4人，包lift tickets and buffet breakfast,价钱差不多，但条件没有Loft
Apartment好。

现在的主要问题是6月4号从GC离开以后到底去哪里呢？只有我一个人开车，又有老人小
孩，所以不想太累，我能承受的极限就是从LV直接回湾区。如果想中途歇一天，再回LA
或者LV也是一个办法，不过可玩的地方不多。去DV不知道可行性如何（老婆可能对这个
地方兴趣不大），开车住宿等等容易安排吗？还有其他可选的吗？请大家给点意见，多

发帖数: 86 | 15 7月初冰川、黄石、大提顿之旅归来。5月初才决定去，时间很紧张，感谢有心人的分享
帮助，现在把自己的行程和大家分享。
由于只有老公开车，我们选择飞到Bozeman，这样向北5个半小时到冰川，而到黄石北门
只要1个半小时，不用开太久的长途。机票是在priceline上定的，由于订的晚，花了很
多米，心疼啊~~~~~
先贴行程，之后再说说衣、食、住、行啊。我们全程都没有刻意的看日出、日落，太累
，基本上每天10-11am出门，8pm左右回住处
Day 1 BZN—East Glacier
10:30am到BZN机场，取车，一路开向East Glacier，中途顺路在Helena的walmart补给
必需品：吃的、喝的、防蚊的、牙膏、cooler（这个很有用！）5:30pm到达East
Glacier，游览two medicine
Two Medicine
-Running Eagle Falls Trail
-boating on the lake （cruise最后一班是5点，但是自己租船boating到8点）

第一天，大清早的飞机1个半小时左右飞到盐湖城，去租车行取车，然后到沃尔玛置备
水和干粮，企图买红酒要庆祝即将到来的中秋，转了n圈超市也不见踪影，才得知原来
犹他州的超市是不卖酒的，除了啤酒。红酒和烈酒都要在专门的烟酒店才有的卖。午饭
后直接开往大提顿公园南门外的小镇Jackson。车程大约4个半小时。到了Jackson已是
傍晚6点半，酒店checkin，接着到The Gun Barrel Steak & Game House晚餐,推荐
mixed game plate。之后回酒店洗漱休息。
第二天4点半起床，5点半出发进大提顿公园的Schwabacher road看日出。天还很黑，可
是已能隐隐分辨远处的山脉，一片蓝墨色，很是漂亮。Schwabacher那没有很明显的标
志，大家都把车扔路边，扛着相机就奔向小路了。拍了一个小时，开回Jackson酒店，
check out，然后在街头转角的Cafe boheme吃了早餐，就正式开进大提顿公园啦。这一

canyon lodge (brand new lodge, 2 nights, 2 rooms)
old faithful inn (old house, shared bath), old faithful snow lodge (1 room
private bath)
colter bay cabin (2-room cabin, 4 beds)
条件最好:teton moutain lodge
最新：canyon lodge,还有一股浓郁的清漆味
最有意思：当然是old faithful inn
条件最差：毫无疑问colter bay cabin，地上很多小虫子尸体，那个被子一掀起来都是
灰尘。晚上很冷，暖气很吵。附近景色也很一般。强烈不推荐。 |

最近老在看锅子，找了半天也没找到特别合适的wok. 家里的不粘锅我想都淘汰掉。出
去旅游的时候，和几个chef聊天，他们都不用不粘锅，一是不安全，二是做出来的菜没
有铁锅好吃，都是西餐师傅。看来还是铁锅好呀，无论是中餐还是西餐。不过我糊涂得
很，他们推荐的锅子的名字一个没记住，这下想找都找不到了。
说几个我最近看的锅子，目前最满意的还是le creuset家的，好看容易清洗，不用我记
着去season 锅子，缺点就是沉了点。而且听说把柄容易断。我有两三只它家的其他锅
子，很好用。不知道有人用过他家的wok没？
all clad的各式各样的亮晶晶的锅，看着我都迷糊了。不锈钢锅子，我用过一些觉得粘
得很。不是很喜欢。
网上看的lodge pro 14 inch cast iron wok,好评也不少，我看图片觉得这锅要season
,感觉好麻烦。这锅有人用过吗？ 用过的同学来说说看

发帖数: 1613 | 28 打算5月底的长周末去大峡谷玩。已经看了一遍精华区，也把nps网站看了几遍。
总结了下面的计划，请大家帮忙参谋参谋，提些建议。谢谢。
Day 1：从bay area开车到Las Vegas，吃buffet睡Circus Circus（$29／night）。
Day 2：从Las Vegas开车5小时去北rim，下午在北rim上走走rim trail，看看日落，
睡在北rim的lodge，晚上数星星。
Day 3：早起看日出，然后往南rim开，不停的话要5小时。据说中间有一些大草甸，
可以下来走走看看，中间用1－2小时。傍晚前到南rim，看日落。
睡南rim的Yavapi lodge。
Day 4：早起看日出。走rim trail，往Hemit trail那边走，都是在rim上走走。
过中午下Bright Angel Trail，往返3mile。
不想走到谷底，随便走走就好了。回rim上的Mavik lodge睡觉，接着数星星。
Day 5：早起看日出，如果还没看腻的话。往Desert View那边走，看Yavapi，

oxbend.

写点其它游记里面没看到的
1.MAP:
黄石公园的路大家都知道是个8字，打印版地图参见这里http://www.yellowstonenationalparklodges.com/images/yellowstone_map.pdf
每个大景区之间离得不远，如果不停的话基本1个小时左右就可以开到。上8有点山路，
但也不算太危险吧，不过东部上8地区还是不推荐晚上开。
考古后大家基本上都是从old faithful开始玩的，俺住的地方定的比较乱就从canyon
开始的。其实无所谓，反正就一个8，计划好了住的地方就行了。不过后来发现有几条
one-way的捷径，像我这样的方向没办法走，这也许也是为啥大家都是从old faithful
开始。one-way上也许还会路过一些小湖什么的，我也没机会看了。
2. 行
据说附近主要有3个机场，westyellowstone太贵，salt lake city便宜一半但要开6
个多小时，还有个什么来着忘了，大家考古吧，也要开4,5个小时吧。我们决定比较匆

Mount Rainier National Park介绍：
Mount Rainier位于Seattle东南部，是一座辐射状活火山，最高峰海拔4392米，绝对海
拔虽然不显高，但在周围几乎都是0海拔的地方是非常壮观的。夜晚在飞机上看到的
Mount Rainier很震撼，一座巨大的山峰破云而出，被冷冽的月光照得更显孤独，而周
围的城市和海湾都隐没在厚厚的云层下。公园一共5个developed景点，从西南逆时针依
次是：Longmire，Paradise，Ohanapecosh，Sunrise和Carbon and Mowich，其中最受
欢迎的是Paradise和Sunrise。下面分景点介绍几个trail。
注：大地图上标注的是提到的景点，小地图上标注的是走过的路线。

房租和日常开
销的压力太大，不敢轻举妄动。今年上半年辞了工退了房之后回国小住了几个月，本想
着秋季要去东
非。回美国后才发现功课来不及做，许多东西必须很早预定，于是就犯个懒去近些的地

实不错，炒鸡蛋绝对不粘，煎鱼不太清楚。
lodge是怎么弄都粘，抹了油也不好用。我现在只用lodge煎牛排，虽然也粘，但是毕竟
热量足，牛排好吃。每次用过之后都要花很大力气清洗。不太推荐这个。当然也可能是
我没用明白。 |

How about this plan
1. Morning flight - Vegas/drive - Grand Canyon(lodge)
2. Grand Canyon/drive - Arches(lodge) *painful long drive ~ 7 hours
3. Bryce(lodge)
4. Zion/drive - Vegas(lodge)
5. flight
I guess Zion and Bryce are nice for spending a day while Arches and Grand
Canyon are good spot for sunset views. What do you think?

Willowbrook，另外一个是Lodge。我目前住在Lodge，对Willowbrook略微了解一点，就
此说说，给新同学们一点参考。
二者共性：带家具，家具已经房间内设施较新。每个卧室自带独立完善的卫生间。每个
apartment内自带washer&dryer。小区环境好，交通比较方便。价格比PV,BJ贵。
价格(以2006年Fall入住时为准)：
Lodge：3 Bdr， 375$ per Bdr 每个月需付电费。其余水费、Cable，无线网络等免费。
Willowbrook：3 Bdr， 395$ per Bdr 每个月manager帮忙付20$电费，自己付剩下的电
费。其余水费，Cable，无线网络等免费。
注明：两个apartment提供的无线网络均为Airimba无线网络。浏览网页，聊天没有问题

交通：
