已经立刻(在卖股票的时候)按照固定税率(跟income无关)交过一次税了,现在填税表,应
该是-2000的loss才对.可是为什么bank给我的1099-div算成0?那么我的long term loss
怎么才能保税呢?
这个0显然没有算short term gain,否则就是+2000了.那么为什么1099-div是0而不是
2000的loss?

这个好像是只适用于federal tax. state TMD的不管long term 还是short term
一律charge tax.

CA nonresident或part-year resident就用“540NR long form”或“540NR short
form”。你是说哪个表？
2. 找了半天。原来你都不是那些表。你是在说540NR Schedule CA。
3. 有什么不明白的？就是1040 Schedule A的line 5+line 8，或1040NR Schedule A的

capital gain tax worksheet是单算的，其余收入还是按照本来的tax table来算，是
这样的吧？
比如taxable income 100k，long term capital gain 40k，税是两部分：40k*0.15 +
60k对应的tax table的值（15% tax bracket），对么？ |

我有退路转H4但受家庭压力很大（不展开讲了），而且还是有一丝希望找到下家，最重
要的是想FILE NIW,目前准备进度达到80%，只等再赚1-2封推荐信.

候,甜点一向对我没有太大诱惑力；爬山也是无所谓，爬爬小山看看风景也就罢了，至
于自虐型的爬大山，没那个体力也怕吃那个苦，所以以前总觉得14er跟我这样的懒人没
多大关系。不过落基山还是有点不太一样。在科罗拉多，特别是Boulder这样的地方住
得久了，就觉得不真正地爬爬山实在有点说不过去。而说到真正的爬山，那当然就是
14er了，谁让科罗拉多拥有整个北美70%的14er呢。
昨天（周日8/3）成功尝试了第一座14er， Mt. Evans，class 2，上山2.5迈，
elevation gain 1950 feet，用时4小时（牛人们别笑话）。在此也感谢trajan,
pikepeaker,liuzhe，特别是msuspartan和icecreek的同行。虽然还是有一点吃力，也
有一定的高山反应，但至少给自己确认了爬上14er的可行性。所以现在野心膨胀，决心
挑战一下自己：今年夏天搞掂Longs Peak。
14er菜鸟中的菜鸟也想爬Longs Peak怎么办？只能是强化训练了。今年夏天已经所剩不

我完成了这个挑战。不用再奔细节照片了，对Longs Peak我一定会写一点东西的，只是
恐怕要拖一段时间。反正有你这个报告在前，读过之后大家对另一篇报告的需求就不迫
切了。

Homestretch上还好，因为那是阳坡，雪已经融了一天了，爬到那儿的时候太阳又晒了
半上午，半边岩壁上基本已经没有多少冰雪。不过本来相对好走一点的中间槽形部位，
也就是美白他们上次走的路线，因为有冰还是不能走，所以所有人都集中在左半边岩壁
上找路。Homestretch原本就是Longs最难的一段，再加上这一点冰雪的影响，就足够上
到difficult class3了。
Trough的情况就要严重的多了。Trough是半阴坡，只有下午太阳才开始晒过来。一天的
时间，周五的雪还有很多没有融化，晚上更是又冻成冰。这一段我估计原先最多也就相
当于difficult class2, 早上加上冰雪的影响，在我这儿的难度就又不下difficult
class3了。照片是下午我们下山的时候拍的，所以看起来阳光明媚，雪已经比早上我们
上山爬过时又少了不少，冰也融了很多，因此少有的下山还觉得比上山容易了一些。
Longs Peak被认为是科州14er中最难的class3，官方的资料中一再声明有冰雪的情况下
难度会立即升级成technical climbing。9/ |

Diamond下就有一条，叫Mills Glacier。我们爬过的北坡也有一条永久雪带The Dove。 |

the afternoon. Indeed late start sometimes is fine for Longs, but just pay
more attention on the change of sky. |

Longs; 六月底如果天气好的话，某些难度低的14ers，比如Quandary Peak或Mt

take a bus right in front of my apartment. It has a spacious living room and
