wrap up in early afternoon and got sometime to settle the many positions i
had.
提灯到手软。account at 30% above last OE. liquidate several positions today
- SPX, PCLN, FNSR, BSX, SCTY, couple others roll to next month (AAPL, DDD,
YELP) or exercise if deep in the money (XONE). after this weekend, will have
30% in cash, while maintain pretty much the same delta. suffered a couple

one major down is FCEL. luckily i sold and reload, actually gain a little
bit.
most of DOWN come from 3D stock. like SSYS and XONE. the lost are mostly
paper gain that i didn't take profit. Sold XONE with profit, sold SSYS with
$2 lost. took profit timely on DDD. |

你的保险就是85C. break even point是指OE, 周二冲起来的时候离OE还有好几天, 股
票在79的时候80c是$1-$1.5之间, 你就是水下5k左右. 要不要cut lost就是个gutsy
decision. Luckily u made a right decision to stay. 如果SNX像NFLX一样继续上冲
, 这个位置就亏大了. 最大lost就是股票到85以上, -25k. 你的保险不是保不亏钱, 只
是保最多不会亏25K以上.
这个TRADE共计4手, 160个option, commission 接近$150, 最大利润 1250, 最大损失
25000, 把这种trade说成恒定实在是有些Stretch了.

be up to $95, so I did sell it at $90.x. Now will buy back maybe $73.x

pretty structure and never get any code out without huge bugs... they work
hard and work over time, since they have too dumb to figure out what the
fuck is in wrong in their NICE, ELEGANT code, which cant work after 12 releases

) compared to that in industry. In industry, if I work 3 hours a day, I can
have the job done.
Have been working in industry for many years. Recently got a faculty job in
a decent university (luckily I kept publications while at industry), the pay
however will be cut by 25% (if considering industry year-end bonus, the cut
will be even more). In addition, as a faculty I will have to work much more

you still need to communicate with other ppl to get the work done. it may be
just a few emails or conf calls a day but it'll be tough if you're
physically in another client's office. you may get by for a short period of
time, but not for the long term. 白天出去玩，晚上加班吗, no way.
once i was doing this part time, i worked from home on mon. and fri., and
got a lot of "free" time to burn, so i picked up another "job".
