直有一种坐公共汽车走走停停的感觉。迷迷糊糊下了飞机，走出机场，大风中我差点站
不稳，那一刻，我清醒过来，这就是Patagonia，这就是传说中的大风。
Punta Arenas位于Magellan海峡的西边，附近有两个地方可以看企鹅 (Magellanic
Penguin) ，Otway colony和Isla Magdalena。Otway的企鹅colony比Isla Magdalena小
，因为风大没有船到Isla Magdalena，就只能退而求其次到Otway了。
夏天正是企鹅繁殖的季节，可以看到不少守护着小企鹅的爸爸或妈妈。企鹅爸爸妈妈轮
流着，一个去海里捕鱼，一个在家孵卵或照顾小企鹅。向导颇为煽情地说，一对企鹅一生忠诚于伴
侣，一方如果先死去，另一方会独身至死。向导感叹企鹅的忠贞不渝，
接受了多年科学训练的我却开始走神，“真的吗？什么样的研究得出的结论？为什么？
是什么样的遗传背景决定的？” |

作为一个科学家，一个中国人，有这么个争议性大的热门课题，放过可惜了。90% 的工
作量是收集数据，但人多力量大，如果后来的收集数据多了，可以裁开发，力度更大。

议会上，该市领导经表决通过“正当理由驱逐条例”（"just-cause" ordinance
regarding evictions.）。18日通过的这项条例，将影响到全市45万名租客。

新条例规定，房东驱逐租户需要提供正当理由，如租户不支付租金、破坏公寓或造成滋
