all schools (private, public and Chinese) must use Malay as 1st
language for tutoring, this is a law.
although some private/or Chinese schools teach a lot English, and some
courses are in English, if compared with Malay, English is always their

2011年11月号刊登韓德森（Scott J. Henderson）的文章说，美国和西方对中国的观察
，通常基于政府政策的演变、外交关系、实力重组等因素，但还有另一个有用的参照物
，那就是军队的外语培训。
早在1949年，中国人民解放军就在洛阳建立了外语学院，作为培养国防语言人才的摇篮
。现在洛阳“解放军外语大学”已经培养了5万多名毕业生，担负起军事翻译、军事外
交、国际反恐、联合国维和行动等各项工作。从该校的课程设置可知，这是一所培训(
能破解密碼的)多种语言人才的军事情报学府。
解放军外语大学出版自己的《外语杂志》。1978年至1987年，以英文、俄文、日文、韩

马来西亚是一个多民族国家。马来族、华族和印度族是马来西亚的三大民族。三大
民族约占人口总数的90%。其中，马来人约占人口总数的60%，华人约占25%，印度人约
占7.5%。马来族是马来西亚社会的多数民族，且一直以马来西亚的“主人”自居，但从
历史发展角度而言，马来人并不是严格意义上的“土着”，而是以华人、印度人一样也

印度媒体如何报道冯唐译泰戈尔？
冯唐的翻译引发了泰戈尔的祖国——印度媒体以及网友的关注。
《印度时报》于24日发表了一篇题为《对泰戈尔诗作最色情的翻译在中国引发争议》的报道。报道首先简单介绍了这件事，并称冯唐不懂孟加拉语，显然只是用浅显的中文表达了自己的理解。
