Martha Coakley落后共和党候选人Scott Brown 4个百分点。这不，克林顿和奥巴马御
驾亲征来麻省召开动员大会。
自由派雄狮肯尼迪参议员西去，他留下的空缺应该是民主党的囊中之物。怎奈民主党过
于大意。现实是老太太Martha满脸皱纹说话生硬，敌不过男模出身的 Scott魅力超凡。
想当年，律师出身的Martha集美丽智慧于一生，法庭上所向披靡专为穷人弱者打官司，
仕途顺利成为州总检察长，本想更上一层楼做联邦参议员，谁道世事难料。反过来，
Scott政治资历虽浅，可是人气旺盛，加上两个漂亮女儿助阵，一频一眸揽尽人心。
如果Martha输了，这将是民主党的滑铁卢。民主党参议院不够60票，共和党就可以
filibuster，医疗改革就泡汤了。
民意突然反转扑朔迷离，恐怕主要原因是不满意经济萧条失业严重，加上奥巴马没有管
住华尔街大亨们照拿巨额红包等等。不管怎样，下星期二(1/19/2010)选举是关键的一
天，鹿死谁手人们拭目以待。

开车和儿子（10岁）去Cape Cod玩，顺便去玩Martha's Vineyard，来回3天住两晚。
估计Martha's Vineyard要玩一天，坐坐Bus，骑骑自行车。
第一天开车到Cape Cod，在Cape Cod玩，当晚住去Ferry的附近，第二天一早住船去
Martha's Vineyard。
大家觉得第二天住在Martha's Vineyard好（如果还想玩的话第三天还能在岛上玩）还
是坐船回大陆住Ferry附近的酒店（估计晚了就住附近，估计住宿费比岛上便宜）？

发帖数: 494 | 13 Martha's Vineyard 是位于麻州Cape cod地区南部的一个海岛，是美国著名的度假胜地。 该岛面积不大，大约有230平方公里，相当于一个中等城市大小。每年夏天，都有很多知名的电影明星、政治家、作家、艺术家喜欢来这里度假，使得该岛更是名声显赫。比如克林顿夫妇就是该岛的常客。8月的最后一个星期，今年的新任总统奥巴马及家人也来到这里度过了为期一周的假期。海滩、峭壁、港口以及日落美景，吸引了众多游客来此观光，每年夏天都让这里变得热闹非凡。
伴随着清晨的第一缕阳光，我们便开始了一天的旅程。从波士顿地区出发不到2个小时即可抵达Steamship渡轮停车场，然后就登上Island Home号游轮，45分钟后，我们便到了Martha's Vineyard的Vineyard haven港口。
在岛上有方便的公交系统，买一张Daily pass就可以在一天内无限次的乘坐所有bus环游全岛。 我们先搭乘bus到达了另一个小镇Oak bluffs，这里是岛上最热闹的小镇，五颜六色的Gingerbread house是这里的特征。

锅macy正在clearance，现价$25，当时有个coupon code
目前还处在尴尬期，居无定所，吃完上顿要去找下顿
在迁徙中度过的话厨具没有办法买太好的
但是又没有办法将就质量过差的厨具
这个组合自以为搭配得不错
买来以后感觉生活质量提高很多
因为可以蒸！馒！头！了！
就这样，其实幸福很简单，只要是个吃货……

，在State Forest睡了一个晚上，挺有趣的。第一天天气很好，我们转了Visitor
Center，学习了CCC的历史，感觉当年的美国跟现在的中国很像，就像雄心勃勃的年轻
人，不像现在，修几百米路都要花上几年。骑了CCC自行车道，很不错，晚上去
Sandwich Boardwalk转了一圈。第二天去Marth's Vineyard，令人失望，MV自然风景很
一般，我大概骑了20 miles的自行车道，包括那条非常popular的beach road，没觉得
有多么惊艳，当然可能跟那天天气不好有关，记得去年有人贴过在那儿的照片非常漂亮
。我觉得可能需要在那儿住上几天，才能领略MV几个小镇的特点，我们走马观花是不行
的。。。相比而言Sandwich是个很有意思的小镇，有一些特色博物馆，可惜这次没时间
多逛，下次去不如把时间花在那儿。
这次的行程：CCC Visitor Center —> CCC Bike Path —> Shawme-Crowell S |

其实我是去出差，准备带着老婆孩子一起去那儿呆上两三天，有两个问题请教大家，
1.我开车过去，听说上岛需要轮渡，这个轮渡应该是可以摆渡汽车的那种吧？需要提前
预订吗？如果直接到渡口买票，需要等多久才能上船？
2.接待我的人可以提供岛上的house住，可是因为我是带着老婆孩子去出差，不想太麻
烦人家，打算自己订个hotel,请问有什么推荐？
