However, sometimes mathmatics is far more unneccessary than concise language,
no matter English or Chinese. I also don't think there even exists MODERN
economics. Math is a good tool to study economics but not the only one. I met
an interesting problem one day and I got the answer right away by simple
reasoning and later I thought if use math to solve it, it looks almost
impossible because of the mathmatical complexity. |

about switching major, I don't have money, I don't have "shenfen", so this
is just my compromising way of survival, kind of study and accumulation for
future use. After all, I learned NO mathmatics in college as a pure biology

本来猎头找我是BB一个什么news组。店面两个人：一个算法谈的还愉快，另一个比较变
态，全问我exception handling，我表示基本没做过，仍然锲而不舍，问我有什么思路
。俺只好乱讲。说一个礼拜给消息，实际杳无音讯，默据了结。
言归正传，猎头同时给我投了two sigma，我甚至不知道这个公司，来这里看了看才知
道居然是个牛公司。我的情况是骑驴找马，这头驴虽然破，但足以养家，所以下不了狠
心做题。自知不做题希望不大，不过也不在乎被多据一次。电面扯了一通我对金融的向
往，居然给了onsite。
猎头没告诉我去面什么职位，无的放矢，正好借口不做题。不过我自知白板写代码极差
，还是把c++的基本语法又看了一下。结果还真的有白板做题，仍然很不习惯，但也没
办法。以后我面试别人，绝对不搞这种变态做法。
第一个比较资深的phd,news team的。相谈甚欢，主要介绍自己，怎么解决各个project
问题，另外我没有金融背景，怎么应付这个领域等等。还有几个小题，怎样uniform

较中美小学数学教学的书很受启发），但是，这个不能证明是全国统一标准/大纲/教材
的功劳吧？
马力平的调查研究结果说，美国中小学的数学教学不如中国，一个重要原因是美国教师
的mathmatic teaching knowledge 远不如中国教师。
如果她的结论有理，那么，“全国统一标准”可以解决问题吗？ |
