差别，或者说 fast-maturation vs slow-maturation 的差别。。。老农的说法就是八
缸重型柴油手扶拖拉机，是不是出厂磨合期会更长点的问题。
实战的，娃说好像最近有人给他们学校做测试，测试结果貌似 advanced math class

关系还是比较复杂的。。。简而言之就是两难推理。。。一点儿都不 mature 的，那
叫猴子；但是 mature 得太过迅速的，那叫猩猩（当然比猴子好一点）。
而对于后者的原因，我觉得 "mature" 这枚硬币的另一面就是 "loss of plasticity"。
或者用 bbs 上 slang 的说法，当 intelligence 遇上（1）记不住事儿（2）反射弧
太短，直接就 U-turn 了。。。而 “faster maturation” 常常会导致 “反射弧太短”
（当然，个别 outlier 另说）。

发现我所有的都偏小。Option price选的是(highest closing bid+lowest closing
ask)/2,interest rate是从zero curve中于Option maturity最接近的两个通过linear
interpolation得到，用的是calendar day算time to maturity,会是什么原因呢？而且
short maturity的差的较大（max error=0.0895,which matures in 10 days)，long
maturity的还行。所有数据来源于WRDS |

T-Bond--long term w/ longest maturity. 15, 30 yrs...

adaptive group。
但这样就有了个思想实验，也就是如果出了个错，错把一个普通娃放在 GT 班里。那

but the bond price will fluctuate cuz interest rate chg. for ex, u got bond

will realize ur loss when u sell, cuz ur bond lock in ur bond for 30 yr at 4
%.

在我看来整个nosql market都很不mature
如果mature的话，那很多东西就不用做了
hdfs也许还ok，但是hbase的market就一塌糊涂了
c*理论上是跟hbase有一定交集，而非file system，比如hdfs
而c*是ap系统，ap可以tune成cp，但是反过来，cp要想tune成ap
就困难异常，我怀疑能不能做到，从这一点上说
c*的设计有天然的优势，天然就是cp系统的超集
hadoop是先行者，就像当年的ejb一样
但是jvm世界里后来居上反嗜的大有人在，比如spring
我同样看好vert.x干掉akka，以及c*干掉hbase
实际上这两个已经隐隐约约有这种迹象了，需要的只是时间
到时候现在做得一切系统都会被legacy化，到时候维护都是问题
然后一堆startup靠着这些新兴简单的技术来参与市场竞争
历史总是会这样重复

半年多前在这个小区买了套房，是在 downtown 附近介于 100 街与 92 街之间的一个
社区里。 98004 的学区，地点好，房子好，风景也还不错，邻居素质好，住得挺舒服
的。本来还想说等房价起来后，拿出去卖掉，不过年纪大了，“不折腾”，就当作养老
之所吧。
我有条黄金猎犬，五岁，每天在社区里遛狗是我的日课。
遛狗的好处除了人与狗都有得锻炼之外，也可以顺便看看人家的房子。这个社区的房子
都挺不错的，连六七十年没有改建过的 dozer 都要 $1M（主要是地价），最高可能可
以到 $3M 吧，前两天经过一套正在卖的要价 $2.67M。我喜欢在遛狗的时候顺便看看邻
居的房子，看看人家的花园怎么设计的，房子的建筑有什么特色等等。同时这个社区的
人也很有礼貌，遛狗时在路上遇见人，都会彼此点头打个招呼，不管对方是开车还是走
路的，只要遇见了就会点个头招招手。

11 year maturity with yield 4.9-5%, like CUSIP 167485R45, maturity date 1/1/

forever?
Even if you can hold to maturity, you are kidding yourself if you think the
market price doesn't matter as long as you can redeem at the face value.
Fixed-income market is highly efficient in terms of pricing. The moment that
rates rise, your investments already worth less, and it is real, not just
some perception.
