发帖数: 7030 | 9 生物里phd直接faculty的多是肯定不多的。。。做chem bio的颇有一些，不过那些主要
是chem PhD （Sheng Ding, David Liu, etc）。如果只算纯bio的PhD，袁钧瑛算很成
功的例子吧；Peter Walter算另一个很成功的例子吧。然后不著名的例子也不少了其实
，比如Blobel实验室和Peter同时期的很多人都直接AP了，不过那些人总体混得都一般
就是了。别人肯定能给出更多的例子来。
然后还颇有一些人PhD毕业就拿到AP了但是放弃不去，要做个postdoc学习一下新东西。
我老板其实就是这样。然后我至少认识两个朋友是这样。名字就不说了。
另外生物phd出来做independent fellow的还是挺多阿。这样虽然不是AP,但是已经独立
了。这样的成功例子就更多了，Steve Mcknight, Philip Beachy, David Page, David
Bartel，David Sabatini... |

花不了几个钱的 构建一个inducible cell ablation line,然后养出来招个tech往每个
管子/well里面加药就行。如果嫌看imaging太麻烦，还可以直接kill掉能产生行为特征
的细胞,这样看一眼就知道drug有没有用了。这个是我强项 哈哈哈
我前一段做了个1000-drug的fish screen,挺容易的。。我前一段联系了几个screen
center,有人愿意把用剩下的drug aliquot卖给我，1万个drug才要三四千刀，市场价要
五六万 哈哈 不过我还没买 暂时没法做

neurogenesis 打了1000多个药还就找到一个hit 这种直接上in vivo animal model的
筛法虽然很笨 但是相关性高啊 药厂那种一个in vitro model上去筛 然后不停的改分
子结构来满足各种指标之后才in vivo的办法我觉得更不行。。 |

我和同学大概是3点到的球场，marching band已经开始表演了，我们的位置在很前面，
所以看到了nbc的pp解说员，她边上还有一位女士，
后来才知道是brady quinn 的母亲，可能是brady的最后一场home game了，所以他的家
人也来了。这次没有看见有战斗机飞过，不过有
army的空中跳伞表演，还不错，第一次看到。
运动员入场，我看到他们穿的是green jersey，心一寒，去年就是穿着这身衣服在最后
7秒输给trojan 的阿。果然一开场，失误频频，可能是天冷
手还没热的缘故，先是brady的一个 passing int, 在是kick off的时候 19号 west
的一个fumble, 还好被我们的队员 recover, brady在 int
之后都没怎么扔， 基本上是 walker 在跑，不过对手防守不怎么样，walker搞了一个
td, 第二节 brady 传给 Samardzija 一个 td之后，我们就完全
掌握主动了， mcknight 之后有 两个td, 感觉 carlson受伤之后 ，我们的 tight end
没有跟得上 |
