今晚有空, 和大家聊聊Intel.
早上看报, 看到一条小新闻.HP决定把他的高端video conference 业务卖给Polycom.
钱不多, 89M. 发言人解释说这是为了让HP更好地focus于公司的既定战略. 记得前一阵
子, cisco把以前吭吃吭吃搬来的flip, webex拿出来yard sale的时候, 也说是要专注
于公司的core business. 确实, HP, Cisco这些横向铺开的大公司, 是够不专心的. 另
一方面, 每一个loser都情愿说自己是那只不专心的兔子, 没有人会愿意承认自己是无
能的乌龟, 虽然有时候, 乌龟才是赢家.
和Cisco, HP比起来, Intel就是这样一个专注如乌龟的公司. 这样说是偶个人意见, 很
多人不同意. 事实上, Intel确实常常走在新科技发展的后端. Intel有纵深, 产业庞大

抓螃蟹不知海钓为何物，将来想起来可能会有点遗憾哦。屁屁我在国内也是钓淡水鱼，
海钓是来这里才开始学的，想起当初“自学成柴”的艰难，于是愿意将一点心得拿出来
跟大家分享，帮助有兴趣的同学尽快上贼船。
做贼也得守法。所以首先介绍一下相关法律方面的情况。海钓不需要license，但是各个
州都有它的regulation，哪种鱼什么时候可以钓，一天每个人可以keep几条，什么样的
尺寸是keeper，什么样的钓到了必须放回大海，都是有规定的。Regulation每年都会由
DEC根据上一年每种鱼的渔获量进行调整。在一些钓点经常会有警察检查，被查到非法行
为，轻则罚款（象一条不合尺寸的striped bass，可以罚$1000），重则有牢狱之灾，所

对于职业选手，目标不是掉到鱼，是要钓大鱼。
岸边或者离岸都不重要，重要的是水下的structure。
我只是想反驳这种一刀切的说法。说什么大鱼不在远离岸边的地方，只在岸边树下。如
果是这样，著名的lake mead还怎么钓鱼？ |
