您听说过这样的医疗规则吗：
病人走进医院不管有钱与否，院方必须接待并给予医治。如果拒绝接受病人、或不予医治而引发病人抱怨，经查证属实，那被抱怨的医护人员将被课以1000 – 2000美元的罚款。
一位美国医护人员对我说：以上是美国联邦政府相关法则，任何医院不得违背。
如此说来，美国的任何医院都可被称作是：穷人的免费医院。(当然，美国是否有专为富人看病的专属医院，本人不得而知)
除以上提到的普通医院外，美国还有许多穷人医院，这些医院一般都由个人、社会团体、宗教团体或联邦政府等机构赞助、协助或资助而建立并运营。芝加哥著名的穷人医院：慈爱医院(Mercy Hospital)就属于这类的穷人免费医院。

遵守神的“最大的诫命”而已，因为他想通过提问题来“显明自己有理”──“谁是我

MERCY规模在CHICAGO排不少号，第一个医院倒是真的。但是床位数没有2500，也就200
吧。也就是一个社区医院，服务BRIDGEPORT COMMUNITY。
从规模看，连前10位都排不上。连LEVEL 2 TRAUMA CENTER都不是。
规模比较大的医院，UC，NW，UIC，LOYOLA，COOK COUNTY， RUSH，CHRIST，MT SINAI CENTRAL DUPAGE。。。。。。。就连08年关闭的MICHAEL REESE医院，都比MERCY大多了。 |
