有牌子写的是resident permit only 6pm to 8am。牌子不在meter上方，但是meter前
后10米一条街上别的meter上有这个牌子，那意思是说6pm之后没有permit就不能停了.但是我那个meter头上没有牌子，是这个meter是特例呢还是说这条街都是一个规定？ |

上个月7月11日换了oncor 的smart meter，换表之前6/30-7/11总共用了300度电/11天，换表
之后从7/11-8/1用了2900度电/20天。家里在上个月并没有生活习惯上的变化，电怎么会差别
这么大呢？
smart meter上显示我家上个月最大用电量是12kw.我家是3200sqft，2001年的房子，上
下两层两个空调，温度设定在77-80度，一般设置78度。想想家里其他用电的就是两个
冰箱和洗衣机烘干机以及照明。做饭热水器都是烧气的。
打电话给我家的电力公司，他们说如果他们来检查smart meter，需要付100刀的检查费
。所以在他们来之前，来这里问问大家。不知道中央空调一般都多少kW的用电。一个house12kW可能么？

almost all my pictures. DSLR has the best focus in center spot
too.
For 5D III
1. C.Fn 2, set the shutter button to "AE lock" or "Metering Start"
2. Use center spot focus to focus, then "AF-On" to lock
3. Shtter button half way down to meter and lock meter or to use
"*" to lock the meter depends on set up at step 1)

Japan Airlines Flight 123, on the Tokyo International Airport to Osaka
Itami Airport at an altitude of 1460 meters from the mountain Takamagahara
in Gunma Prefecture, Japan, about 100 km from Tokyo station.
All 15 crew and 505 of the 509 passengers died in the disaster. It is the
heaviest flying accident with only one machine involved.

发现的物体，并不是一个正方形，甚至不是一个规则的形状，那么如何在描述一个物体
的大小？24和24应该是该不规则形状物体的最长处和最宽处的尺寸，而并不是说这个物
体的面积有576平方米。

前两天突发奇想用同一滴血（多挤了点血）测了一下新 meter 和旧meter (同一个牌子
two year time difference)发现差别好大。新meter: 100 and 旧meter : 121 （2小
时饭后）
打电话给one touch,居然vairation 是30% 为正常。他们会给我寄control solution,
但是the normal range is big too (100-140).

二次的时候，发现车窗一张罚单，11:30am 第一次加钱时， 那罚单肯定没有。 可是那
张罚单上写的我在10:30am就停在那里， 规定是11am之前不能停的。我不记得什么时候
开始停的，可是为什么罚单11:30am之后才来呢？难道警察可以把时间往回写？ 就可以
随意抓人开罚单了？ 花时间去appeal， 没用。交了 $50.
今天，还是老地方，小心翼翼地算好时间，给meter放了两小时的quarter，两小时后按
时到达。 发现一辆车挡在旁边，正纳闷是什么， 就坐在车里等着它开走。结果一个

Here is the solution so far by 7 year old.
Use the volume of a cone: 1/3 Pi (r^2) h
His guess is r is 2.5 meter, h is 1.5 meter
So total volume is 9.81 cubic meter
Using density of 1.4 ton/cubic meter, total weight is 13.74 ton
So 30222 lb.

such a big lake in winter.

Before water becomes frozen, we can put two cables into the bottom across

really understand it, and set correct FEC before even fire the flash.
There are two flash metering mode, Evaluative vs Average. you can google
what it really means, but it seems
1. when use flash as main light, use evaluative metering
2. when use flash as fill light, use average metering
If you are controlling multiple flash on a trigger and cannot set metering
mode separately, use evaluative mode.

setting only look at meter for reference. what ever meter to use, doesn't
matter. If back light from a window, I can use evaluative mode, meter off a
carpet near a person on the floor, and set exposure. Why, b/c I did not
trust that spot meter when facing light. I can include some bright light and
part carpet on the floor and set exposure. Just need to get to know your
meter. |

(1) set your camera on manual metering mode, set to spot metering
(2) select your desired aperture
(3) put the imaging circle on your subject’s skin then take your reading.
If using your camera’s meter, adjust your shutter speed until your meter
is at the center zero point.
