this program is it does not have its own fellowship programs, and IM and
podiatry are the only two residency programs they have.
It's a nice community hospital in between Boston and Springfield, basically
gets the sick patients in between (Hence the name "MetroWest")
The program has a TON of Koreans and they all know each other.
It's within close proximity to Boston, which has its value-- as long as you

蓝区比红区多的多 尤其是波士顿的西郊（MetroWest）都是很liberal的富人镇 这个从
麻省的state legislature里的民主党和共和党的比例就可以看得出来 现在好点了 几
年前麻省的众议院里民主党的议员数量是共和党的10倍！
所以美国的liberal洗脑的确有一手 很多受过良好教育的白人就是死心塌地得跟着民主
党 加上他们用福利控制了inner city的黑人，和包括中国人老广在内的龙虾党等数量
众多的票蛆 在麻省就是民主党一党独大 |

the proximity to Al 的老婆 is one GREAT advantage you should not abandon
lightly.
most folks in Arlington/Medfart/Belmont zone take the Lexington/Lincoln/
Concord/Bedfart upgrade route...
No need to 折腾 to MetroWest.

我搬过来刚上班一个礼拜，就在Minado吃坏肚子，上吐下泻的，还发烧，那天是圣诞节
，我们还请了好几个朋友来家里吃饭，结果可想而知... 我一般不去医院的（人懒),结
果那天是喝口水也拉肚子。晚上十点，我太太把我送到metrowest看ER，运气好是圣诞
节，病人很少。护士先把仪器连到我身上，来了个医生，说我脱水了，要吊盐水，结果
吊了一瓶，医生看了看，说不够，就再吊一瓶... 折腾到很晚才让我们走。
就付了$50 copay。 |

但是我们观察的town，没人抢，打电话给listing agent，
一般当天都可以看房。
整个metrowest比去年降了一些，从shrewbury到westwood都差不多。
condo降得更多,看看列城的drummer boy和westborough的powder hill.
现在8000credit没了,倒春寒来了,明年孩子入学可以shop around了.
一个好的listing agent应该给seller合理的期望值.
我们去年出的价没有被接受,
今年要么off market要么比我们出价低成交.
一个好的buyer agent不要对客人太pushy.
现在客人都有MLS listing的access, 房屋到底值多少,比agent更客观,
你今天push, 以后会很尴尬的. |

It seems to me that Sharon has more Asian/Chinese and diversified housing
stock. While Westwood is more homogeneous White, and housing is more
expensive, it seems that Westwood is very steady in terms of real estate
value.
Besides upgrade, what else you dislike Westwood? I know some towns in
MetroWest are quite snobbish.That is the reason Chinese prefer Lexington and
Newton etc. |
