分钟就给出了正确答案。然后花了十几分钟给他解释清楚。
后来他告诉我这是有名的monty hall problem.
在那个mit学生去赌场赢钱的电影里出现过这个题。
：他不问的话我对这个答案的理解还是错的，你们研究得深的人不要嘲笑我们外行。

用等号标出来的是符合观众开了门没看到羊的情况。所以看起来是观众开门过滤掉了两
种情况。这样我的选择正确和错误的概率就都成了1/2. |

有没有问题。我的分析其实和几个回复没有太大本质区别，就是表述不同而已。我给你
卖的小关子就是monty hall问题，和这个有点类似。
简而言之，就是第二步换的信封里的钱，概率不是独立于第一个信封里钱的随机变量。
其实两者相关系数100%，一旦确定一个，另外一个就变成必然事件了。原题里的叙述：“钱翻倍概率50%，亏一半概率也50%”是错误叙述。随后运用数学期望公式当然就得出错误结论。正确应该为“如果抽到钱数少的信封（50%的概率），那么换信封可以翻倍（这一步100%会翻倍），如果抽到钱多的信封，则。。。（自己补充完整）。”然后运用条件概率公式中的数学期望公式，就可以得到正确结论。原题里推理把两者当作无关的两个独立随机变量处理，条件概率把条件忽略不计，当然答案错误。
至于为什么原题错误推理有一定蒙蔽性，就是推理从参加随机试验的参与者出发，来分
析问题。但参与者知不知道第二个信封里有一半还是两倍钱这个主观意识，是无法改变

Removing the chairs does not tell you any useful information about your
choice before. It does not exclude any sample event. So the answer remains 1

be 1/1000 in Q2 since removing 990 seats is independent of the prob of
correctly picking the prize seat in the beginning.
another way to think of it is:
1. the prob of being the prize seat is equivalent to the prob of winning if
you don't switch after removing 990 seats, which equals to prob(lose if
switching after 990).

书店有两层，第一层是各种分类书，第二层是小说和杂志，第一层还有咖啡屋，供读者
优闲地一面喝咖啡一面看书。书店宽敞，灯光柔和，晚上人不多，是个读书的好地方。
老友上二楼看杂志去了，我就在一楼的 Nature 的类中找有关野生动物的书。
首先我在“save up to 80%”书桌上找到两本书“Birds” 和“Wolves”。
Birds 是 Paul D. Frost 写的，由 Parragon出版。这是一本专写猛禽的书，涵盖了世
上最大的飞鸟 Andean Condor 到麻雀般大小的猫头鹰 Elf owl，当然也包含有本版俗
鸟 Osprey, Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk 和 Snowy Owl。书中有230张图，图片拍得
