Cruiser, 4Runner, Sequoia, Land Cruiser...Equinox is not even a SUV.
With that money you can get Pathfinder (won't even cost 30K), 4Runner, Pilot
etc or American crossovers like Acadia or Traverse. Equinox is not in the
same league with any of those.
Equinox, just like rav4, Rogue, Escape etc, is essentially a 20K car. If you
decided to buy a 20K car, there is no point to go for AWD, leather seats,

to the EXL model if backview camera is a must-have feature. At the price of
EXL, traverse offers AWD (which is a big plus for us living in the north),
better engine/tranny, has backview camera/remote start etc, but lacks the
leather seat, moonroof, and has 10 cf less of cargo space.
we are concerned about Sienna/Toyata's afety issues so it is off our list.
Plus the AWD trim is more expensive than Traverse.
