I don't understand why that many cyclists knocked on your cab while you
parked up to let the client out. Are they all that aggressive or it was the
way you stopped. Did you indicate clearly well in advance? Or you just pull
up all in a sudden? From the cyclist's point of view, it is really difficult
and dangerous to deal with cars/cabs who stopped this way as this is

carriageway, single carriageway and regular road. Most of the time, the
speed limit for cars on motorway, dc and sc are all 70mph. No bike is
allowed on motorway. Apart from that cars have to share road with other
vehicles including bikes. |

发帖数: 2485 | 25 这周日换换口味，选了南边橘子县的一条短路线，但比较陡，这样既可锻炼又不花费很多时间。
因为是原路往返，体力不足的同学可以根据自己状况决定走多远，累了就在原地等待。
注意事项：（请注意这里的更新）
1、计划周日中午12:00pm在山区外的A点集合，那里有个看似shopping mall的大停车场。可以等15分钟，然后卡普进入山区。建议大家吃完午饭之后前往，或者带食物到停车场。最好带个车载GPS指路，trailhead的经纬度坐标是Lat:33.74757, Lon:-117.58256。那里需要Forest Adventure Pass，谁有请带上。没有的话，可以在Visitor Center买到，只要$5。
2、山区没有手机信号，请大家计算好路上时间，最好提前到达。晚到的同学可以自己从起点出发追赶前面的队伍。trailhead位置在下面的description中有描述。
3、周日预报降水概率不大，但最好带个折叠伞或者雨衣，以防突遇阵雨。
4、每人需携带1升以上饮水、防晒霜、帽子，穿宽松运动裤和登山鞋，至少是旅游鞋。有登山杖、GPS、对讲机的同学请带上。
5、难度：前2.5mile上升2 |

不同的地方有规定，什么路自行车可以骑，什么路不可以。例如，我们这里除了
motorway不能上以外（限速70mph），其他的路甚至duel carriageway都可以（同样限
速70mph）。我以前commute的时候，经常有一段50mph的路，大家还是会主动避让的。
换一个角度想，把自行车换成一辆汽车，黑车这种危险驾驶方式，还是很有可能会撞上
的。而无论如何，追尾都是后车的责任。而且如果自行车靠边骑，黑车如果想超bus的
话，自行车还是很可能会被撞到。Hit and run就更加可耻了。Bus driver和后面那辆
车的driver都是非常勇敢和有责任感的市民，赞一个。

A10从法国嘎纳(Cannes)，尼兹(Nice)经摩纳哥，沿地中海到意大利比萨。一路雄关漫
道，100多个钻山地道，飞跃无数峡谷上的是近百米的高架拱桥，一路驶过，右边是蔚
蓝无边的地中海，对面是险峻的高山，张开大口，等我穿透它的心脏，而山峦面对大海
的一面，是高高低低的红瓦白屋，在夕阳的余辉下，让人响起，马斯卡尼的《乡村骑士》
的那段间奏曲。。。

高速公路：
高速公路属于高等级公路。其建设情况反映着一个国家和地区的交通发达程度、乃至经
济发展的整体水平。
世界各国的高速公路没有统一的标准，命名也不尽相同。美国、加拿大、澳大利亚
把高速公路命名为freeway，美国的州际和国防公路网，德国命名为autobahn，法国命
名为autoroute，英国命名为motorway。各国尽管对高速公路的命名不同，但都是专指
有4车道以上、两向分隔行驶、完全控制出入口、全部采用立体交叉的公路。此外，有
不少国家对部分控制出入口、非全部采用立体交叉的直达干线也称为高速公路。国际道

跑一个周日的5miles比赛。其实我从来没有考虑过参加半马以下距离的比赛。怎奈时过
午夜，即便无酒，人的意志也难免薄弱，于是便答应了下来。果然，周五又是一个all
nighter（也是这一周的第二个all nighter）。周六早八点回到家中，在白板上用红色
记号笔狠狠写下“我再也不要熬夜了”之后，昏天黑地地睡到了晚上6点。
周日，除夕，兔年的最后一天。再度醒过来已经是8点半了，匆匆吃了慢炖锅煮了一晚
的紫米红豆粥，煎蛋，火腿，一行五人挤在S同学的小小红车里向Margam驶去，气氛不
是不喜庆祥和的。。。这个比赛是我们county cross country league中的一站，由本
地的一个大钢铁厂的sports club承办，比赛路线见图一。
到了sports club，报名（4块钱）拿号码牌，从此我最喜欢的running gilet上就多了
16个洞（一开始fix高了，还要重新订。。。）。和E同学warm up了几百米，到得起点
