Human makes mistakes. I do it every day. As long as it is not intentional, i
t's not fair to blame the one who tries his best and still makes mistakes.
All the umpiring errors in the Series just cry two words :" instant replay".

correlated to the wins. When the number of wins is used to evaluate a
pitcher, it's never far off. If you look at Jamie Moyer's numbers, the years
when he got more wins, almost all (not all, of course) are the ones he had
lower ERA. Although in his case, pitching style certainly played a more important
role in his longevity. |

this is the driven force.
In the best case scenario, he needs two more seasons to
get there. And he will be 50. If he indeed does that, I'd

就拿今年的RP说，看看Wood，Hoffman和Lidge
谁不是曾经呼风唤雨的，但今年都很瘘，且伤病缠身
Hoffman现在不是closer了，那是blow了n多saves才得这个下场的，而且也就现在的
closer Axford表现不错，要不他还
得回来
Wood的era6.3，closer雷打不动，这次要不是被换走，从DL出来还得是closer，估计是
manager不好意思拉下面子让他
中继，而且Perez投得也不错，干脆换他走了事
Lidge也是有一场没一场的，era5.57，但Manuel还是多次声明他是closer。
Talent是很重要，但岁月不饶人啊，像这种拼体力的竞技运动本来就是年轻人在玩的，
像mlb这么念旧还是挺少见的。
Moyer这种的有那么一个两个就好了，不过听说他这次伤了之后，考虑退役了，媒体又
要好好煽情一把了。

is the holy grail for a pitcher after all.
I'd like to see him get that and get voted into HOF because of that.
At this point, Halladay is a shoot-in, Moyer basically has no chance. |
