立chapter，像journal publication那样主题比较单一的
而multiple-paper 就是先总的一个概述，然后每一章像一篇paper的形式，有独立
intro/method/results/discussion？，然后最后再来一总结的chapter
如果是的话，按我们这前人的说法，前者是给没有太多数据的人准备的。如果博士阶段
做了很多project，发了3-4篇文章就用后者 |

老婆刚找到工作（没有孩子），准备填表。发现按照步骤填了这个Two-Earners/
Multiple Jobs Worksheet以后，算下来每年要withhold 8000+的税，我自己的W-4表也
要改，应该也是要withhold这么多。那两个人加起来就是差不多16000+美元了。请问双
职工都是这样算的么？这些withhold的最后能退回来多少呢？谢谢！

11月10日寄出的，11月11日寄到Buffalo，用的是USPS Express Mail
签收结果是：

且在包裹里放了USPS Express Mail的回邮信封。
我记得当时USPS的人跟我说是11月12日到的，11月11日因为是假期所以到不了。但是居
然11月11日就到了，因为是假期，那么会不会有人收件，然后统一到11月14日星期一送
到他们楼上的加拿大领事馆去呢？
我看收件人是M OTIS，我怀疑是不是电梯间的门卫收的啊。OTIS不是电梯的一种牌子么
？现在两个多礼拜过去了，一点消息也没有。他们不会是因为假期收到我的邮件，扔在
电梯间里，然后工作日忘了把我的材料送到办公室去，而一直丢在了电梯间吧？

开张急需人力。现在琢磨能不能同时file学校和公司的H1 app，两边part time
工作。因为公司做的东西和lab里接近老板也支持，这样parttime对公司的
财务负担比较小。
问题是：
1. multiple H1，尤其是一边是学校不算quota一边是公司，这个有什么额外的
难度？
2. H1申请对公司的财务要求有多高（要有多少的seed funding）？
3. 这个transition估计会持续半年到一年，之后转成full time公司工作。
transition本身有什么讲究？
