to go to McMinnville and go to the Air Museum to see the Spruce Goose, and

If you are in Philly, the Barnes Foundation is a also great place to go. It

（比卧室大），和厨房完全隔开，放一张queen 或者king size床完全没问题，有沙发
床可以睡，另外有两个closet可用，比studio好(同楼层studio租金在1300-1400)，性
价比高，宽敞，高层，view很好，可以看到
art museum，到trader joes走路10分钟，附近trail可以跑步，hiking，环境很好。走
路到30街station 20分钟，到chinatown 25分钟，center city 20分钟左右，close to
everything。租金690，可以商量。也可以住卧室，不过价钱会略高。share
utilities。很多上班族和学生住在这边，到upenn/drexell 和center city都有
shuttle bus，周末有shuttle 去shopping area，比如macy's, targe，ikea，等等。
本人男，在center city工作，基本早出晚归，干净简单，好相处。

新英格兰航空博物馆（New England Air Museum）位于康州首府Hartford郊外的
Bradley机场旁边，除了常规飞行史展览，还有模拟驾机等有趣活动。康州各镇图书馆
常有航空博物馆的free/promotion pass出借。我们前几年趁着圣诞假期去玩：
正逢雪后，开车倒没问题，但可惜的是室外展馆不开放，只能隔着篱笆恋恋瞅一眼：
据说这里有一架米格17，涂81军徽，可能是从志愿军缴获的。上面没一架是吧？
室内飞机按时间顺序贴几个：
这是1914年1月1日，莱特兄弟发明飞机十年零29天之后，世界第一个常规航班在弗罗里

黄得，，，相比其他海滨城市，是我看到比较脏得吧？），行人个人观感也很土、很肥
。。。不过这城市据说是city of design？相比之下，contemporary art museum我很
喜欢，尤其是很大篇幅得漫画部分；另一只art museum正好不开放，没看到 T.T
这里贴两组，按我看到得顺序，第一组是下面得黑白(b&w)，这是我自己命名得，没找
到英文解说 -.- 照片顺序是按照原序，应该是讲得一只故事。。。
ok，第二组能看懂，paradise，这组漫画，我后来看到了更全整整一部书得版本，不过
这个粉色系展厅得布置我觉得比看书效果更好。。。哈哈，幸福城市？天堂生活？呵呵

和DC一样都有很多博物馆，DC的可是不要钱的。这才叫全国人民的首
都嘛！
刚来此地曾发下豪言壮语说每个星期天去陶冶一把，结果当然一次也
没去。倒是陪着各色人等走马关花过N把，反正就是圆屋顶大水塘，
加上那个曾被海明威誉为全美最难看的大烟囱(现在倒是修好了)，搞
得象科幻电影里的千篇一律的休闲镜头一样。：-)
Nation Gallery 才叫Gallery.呵呵。就是我欣赏能力有限。：-( 这
个Natual Science嘛，我在国内还是挺喜欢逛的，此地就算了，除非
身边有拉丁高手，能懂寒武纪三叶草该怎么说。至于American
History，呵呵，自然是不要去和西安的陕西省历史博物馆去比了。
不过我逛过他的Engineering馆，说什么电报电话起源，最早的计算
机，图灵其人之类，那会儿我是陪着个读经济的逛的，一时大大激发
起我的专业自豪感！(自然，现象就是废话连篇：-)
在African ...曾举办过世界钻石展(有可能记错)，据说有世界上最
大的钻石，去看过的人都是一副stunning |

年前，这里还曾是世界最大的automobile museum。
musuem的来历，要上溯到生于二十世纪初叶的瑞士籍兄弟Hans and Fritz Schlumpf的
著名"Schlumpf obsession"。这对兄弟，二战后通过经营纱纺业暴富。从上世纪50年代
开始，历时20多年，他们陆续收藏了400多辆大牌名车公司的旧款classic/racing cars
，其中包括意大利Ferrari，法国Gordini，英国Lotus、Bentley，德国的Mercedes-
Benz，等等。不过最主要的收藏，是法国Buggatti产的各款老爷车和赛车。两兄弟将这
些私人收藏存放在一个spinning mill改造的巨型车库，只有个别私人至交能有幸品味
这顿老爷车的豪华盛宴。
然而，好景不长。70年代末，随着亚洲纱纺业的崛起，这俩富一代一手经营的纱纺王朝

Smithonian为主，还有我最喜欢的NGA，本来就是免费的，但今天还是有惊喜：平时要
收近18刀门票的national museum of crime and punishment，今天是免费的。对我这
个以穷乐呵为主的人来说，这可是不可错过的机会。不过我原来信息误差，竟然以为是
明天才免费开放呢，差点真的就错过去了，还好，及时发现错误，网上填信息，打印好
免费票，下午4点多赶到博物馆，到8点关门，时间还是足够的。
到了博物馆时发现已经排了长长的队，老美一是热衷博物馆，二是热衷拣便宜，这两点
我倒和他们挺象，那就慢慢排呗，掏出随身带的Crazybusy, 边读边等，时间很快就过
去了。还是有消息不灵通人士，今天也买了门票，唯一的好处就是不用排队，可以马上
进场。 估计15到20分钟的样子，就进了博物馆，里面的内容还是丰富多彩，其实实物
的东西，倒不是特别多，特别醒目，更多的是一些资料，反正有时间，就慢慢读呗，不
错的学习机会。按顺序，一进去先上二楼，先是中世纪惩罚与折磨的一些刑具，什么站
