管理资讯科学学院及商学院李效良教授因卓越贡献而被选为今年的院士。
美国国家工程学院今日公布68位新院士名单，三位华裔教授上榜。
麻省理工学院微纳米工程实验室主任陈刚教授，加州大学伯克利分校纳米科学和工程中
心主任张翔教授，斯坦福大学管理资讯科学学院及商学院李效良教授因分别在纳米传热
和热电转换领域、纳米超材料和激光物理学领域、供应链设计和管理领域的卓越贡献而
被选为今年的院士。
在接受中新社记者电话访问时，陈刚表示当选国家工程学院院士是一个至高无上的荣誉
，“能与这么多杰出的学者同列，我倍感荣幸。”
毕业于中国华中理工大学的陈刚1989年由田长霖点将来到美国加州大学尔湾分校，在其
指导下攻读学位。1993年田长霖任伯克利分校校长，陈刚再随其北上攻读博士学位。毕
业于南京大学的张翔曾经和陈刚是加州大学伯克利分校的同学，也是洛杉矶分校的同事
，还是纳米技术的同行和合作者。
张翔率领的研究团队去年研制出世界最小半导体激光器，他还研制出隐 |
