A trespasser shot and wounded a dog defending its backyard in Metairie,
authorities said Tuesday. Zeus, a 5-year-old Doberman pinscher, was listed
in stable condition at Southeast Veterinary Specialists in Metairie.
But owner Henry McCaskill said he is scrambling come up with $3,419 for his
pet's surgery. The bullet struck Zeus in the face and came out of its bottom

，及其可能遭遇的危险。文章拿当年获得英国庇护的俄罗斯特务利特维年科（
Alexander Litvinenko）最终被毒杀的下场为例，指令完成有可能重蹈利特维年科的覆
辙。
近日，美国史丹福大学胡佛学院访问学者Markos Kounalakis在加州萨克拉门托一份报
纸撰文称，任何国家都不会容忍叛国的行为，就算逃到天涯海角也没有一处是叛徒的安
身之所。
文章指出，令完成的哥哥令计划一度是中共中央办公厅的主任，对中共高层内部的运作
了如指掌。而逃往美国的令完成被指夹带了大批中国国家机密资料出逃，因此捉拿令完
成已经成为在美中共特务的「最重要目标」。
此前《华尔街日报》有报导称，令完成曾经与美国官员有所接触，但目前下落不明。
该报导称，美国土安全部目前对令完成一事较为谨慎，不愿透露对简．王的调查是否是
为了锁定令完成的位置，也不愿意透露令完成是否向美国申请了政治庇护，更不愿透露
美方是否接受申请，只是表示，对具体的案件不发表评论。美国中央情报局也不愿评论

书的期盼和拿到新书的开心溢于言表。鸡街小学是海外中国教育基金会网络募书项目的
第一个受惠学校。
网络募书是海外中国教育基金会推出的图书项目之一。基金会的网络募书义工根据需要
捐助学校的学生人数、孩子们的年龄和需求，精心挑选了最适合他们读的书，在书商的
网站上设立心愿单。捐助人只要进入心愿单进行认购，所认购的书就会由书商直接按预
设好的配送地址送到学校。捐助人不管身在国外还国内，都能通过网络操作轻松完成捐
助，简单方便。需要捐助的学校，也都经过基金会严格筛选，并有专门的义工跟进，帮
助学校在收到图书后能开展相应的借阅和读书活动，鼓励孩子们多读书。
继鸡街小学之后，网络募书项目又持续为更多资源贫乏的乡村学校进行了网络募书，包
括甘肃理川扎龙小学、宁夏银川八里桥小学、湖北大悟南田小学、以及湖南永州眼头小

6月20日上午，来自海外中国教育基金会支教团队的美籍华人高雷老师和Lily老师不远
万里来到我校和学生们团聚。
2013年春，针对学生目前英语口语欠缺这一现状，我校在海外中国教育基金会的牵线搭
桥下，和远在美国的高雷老师和Lily老师结缘。她们利用远程网络课堂，义务为我们学
校学生进行英语口语教学，她们流利的口语、丰富的肢体语言，一下子就吸引了参与远
程学习的的每一位师生。每堂课精彩不断，得到了全校师生的一致好评！通过一年多的
共同学习和交流，这两位老师决定回国，和即将毕业的九年级同学团聚一次，也和在校
正在参与远程口语学习的七八年级学生来一次零距离接触，化虚拟的网络联系为真正的
情感交流。

中国人是怎么做到的？有道是“有志者事竟成”。没有必要上电视演说，没有必要玩弄文字游戏，没有必要发表内阁声明，去做就是了。作为撤侨的第一步，中国人把她的国民送到安全的周边国家，这样他们就不再有危险，正在展开的是第二步，把他们从这些邻近国家带回到中国。聪明吗？显然！但我们印度人怎么就想不出这样的好主意呢？
