I find that netezza does not support UNIQUE key.

workbench to a csv file.
But, the column names are missing even though I set up "skip row" as 0.
Because the file is too large, I cannot open and edit it in Excel or notepad
/notepad++.
How to add the column names ?
Any help would be appreciated.

like the machine is huge, heavy (about 1 ton/rack), and power-consuming. It
beats all other traditional databases in performance by 10-100 times, no
index needed, no tuning needed, no DBA needed either.
Anybody have any idea about Netezza system? Query still the same, like ANSI-
SQL standard? |

我的意思本来就是有database的经验当然要说，不管是oracle还是别的，但是如果没有
的话就要说点pass-through code 之类的东西。另外，for your information, sas
pass-through to oracle 的确是不快，但是现在有另外一个丁丁叫netezza, way
faster than oracle, sas pass-through to netezza is lightening fast. 如果你们
公司里还没有，赶紧给你老板说说，说不定就是大功一件 :)
另外关于reporting tool, 我原先说的就是把最后结果放到excel里。但是有些具体部
门的reports是很标准化的，没有随意改动的情况。 |

发帖数: 1524 | 49 没用过netezza，不知道可以handle多大的数据。而且这也不是我，或是我老板说了算
的，大功只好算了。
没有数据库的经验，拿到这样的位置比较难，除非是都是sas dataset based.但job
description 里面不是这样。而且不管是什么样的database engine,sas都不可能绕过
engine, 你run一个where dhms(year( ........ )=,
估计netezza也歇菜。
要强调的是sql和已掌握的东西相似性，而且是个quick learner，这样还有些机会。 |
