and Nature neurosci on average are clearly the best. I don't feel there are
significantly difference among the papers published in the journals, like
PNAS, Nat comm, eLife, Plos biology, Cell reports. Many papers in J neurosci
are also very good quality (comparable to these journals) despite a lower
impact factor.
The best thing about eLife is it is FREE at lease for now! The review

，申请的时候用了精神科和神经科老师（都是MD）的推荐信，只有很短时间的psych OB
经历，卖到了精神科。我面试时候的感觉神科都挺重视neuroscience的科研背景的。
没有精神科推荐信的话，如果能够拿到神经科的推荐信应该也不错，要老师写信的时候
写的general一些，尽量强调neuroscience科研相关的。PS里面好好解释自己为什么选
择精神科（而不是神经科）。
还是争取做OB，拿到精神科的推荐信最好，哪怕做晚了面试的时候带去也行。申请的时
候多投大学的program，因为这些program相对社区医院更注重科研背景。 |

麻烦大家给给建议：
1. purdue，新老板（2年前刚结束博后），做naChR。只有一个R00，到2014年结束。我
是实验室第一个博后。给40,000。实验室还有一个技术员 2个研究生。答应给换H1.
2.UCSF。继续做疼痛。属于ucsf实验室规模比较小的。2个老板。一个老板50多岁，另
一个老板是神经外科医生。
有一个R01，2个R21和一些私人基金。给46,000.实验室还有一个技术员 一个博后。说2
年内基金没问题。也答应给换H1。
个人分析：
第一个实验室好处：新老板，感觉人比较nice。实验室小，可以和老板有充分的交流。
平台是现成的。
不好的地方：位置偏僻，purdue的neuroscience氛围不好。而且课题和我以前的完全无

昨天我发出《关于饶毅、管坤良实验室联合发表的论文数据造假的分析》后，
饶毅转给我他当天登在其微信公众号的文章《饶毅、管坤良就论文图片的分析》
（以下简称饶文），作为对“有人匿名散发指饶毅参与署名的9篇论文中图片有
造假问题”的回应。由于第6、7、8、9等四篇文章“不存在需要解释的地方”，
饶文称只需回应第1、2、3、4、5等五篇文章——对此我也同意，我在前文也只
分析了这五篇论文。
但是实际上饶文只回应了“饶毅需要负质量和监管责任的图片”，指的是这
两篇论文中的图片：

position的很少很少，原因很简单：neuroscience 在这些top10里已经很完备了，除非
你是stem cell, optogenetics， epigenetics/memory之流可以凑凑热闹。
如果自己也看不惯mentor，不如去Top 30闯闯。 top30 open position的还是不少。 |

发帖数: 211 | 38 越是好杂志越注重创新，越重视story，写法上要非常能吸引眼球。方法往往放在第二
位，除非这个方法有什么革命性的意义。例如最近管理学领域开始饭 neuroscience，
提出什么organizational social neuroscience, neuromarketing, neurostrategy等
方向(比较早的有neuroeconomics, neurofinance)，如果跟时髦，用这些方法做的文章
被top杂志接受的可能性会高一点。
上面有人提出了非常好的建议－－多到会议或者相关学校做presentation。如果是管理
学的文章，很多时候就是一个怎样说服reviewers和读者的问题。在不断做
presentation的过程中，会得到很多反馈，能让自己更知道如何传递自己想要传递的信
息，更好的挖掘出所谓的contribution。
另外就是坚持不解的投稿，不要怕拒。我见过美国某两名校商学院的两位副教授2009年
底合作投的一篇定性研究，这文章都已经在10多所名校做过presentation，连清华经管

发帖数: 915 | 39 我也一直是这么看的，我觉得数学好的人，是真正的聪明人，可能有些人觉得这么说很
武断。我的第一个薄厚导师，就是隔壁讨论的NYU Courant的，做computational
neuroscience。很多人错误的认为computational neuroscience is to make computer
models for neurons。远远不止这些。你如果只是simulate neuron behavior的话，
你以为你了解它，其实不是真正的了解。这个老师每次看到一个神经系统，他眼里看见
的东西和我是不一样的。他真的是能用数学公式和理论来解释出这种behavior的本质（
注：这个本质不是Na K channel这些，比这还要基础）。
我那时也只是整天抱怨的千老一个，很后悔没抓紧机会把他的本事多学一些来。 |

我来说说张生家。
张生家在国外的时候就是各种无法无天。这次他做出这事来我一点都不意外。关于这个
人，我的评价只有一句：见过恶心的，没见过这么恶心的。哦，或许我说的不太对，还
有一个人和他一样恶心，就是他老婆叶菁。和叶菁的接触虽然不多，但是几件事就足够
让我认定她和她男人是一路货色，只是表现方式不同，张生家张狂而直接，叶菁委婉而
含蓄，但是他们的最终目的都是一样的。叶菁的事情我先不说，先说说张生家。
那些逼迫学生每天工作12个小时以上，节假日无休，让学生做家务，性骚扰女学生之类
的事情，我就不一一说了。既然这次他坑了合作者，那我就先说说他坑其他合作者的事
情。
这人在德国念的博士，他的强项在于分子和病毒，而对于神经生理，则是门外汉。因此

中国的大学做门面的。用68个期刊的发表情况来排名，真正的Nature子刊是其中很小的
一部分。一个化学系或物理系在chemical communications or applied physics
letters发表很多文章就可以排得很高，哪怕一片Nature子刊都没有。这个排名忒糊弄
了...弄得很多国内高校吹嘘自己超过MIT,加州理工。

我是上医的校友，80年代中期在上医，然后出国多年，很惭愧到上医的机会很少，跟大
家没有太多的交流。
今天我讲的题目不太容易讲，第一是本人工作做得也不是非常好，第二是大家对我的期
望也过分高了一点，好像来参加我的讲演，就可以在很好的杂志上发表文章，如果有这
种期望，我很抱歉，做不到。在讲课前我先问大家一个问题，在座的有多少人已经在英
文杂志上发表过文章（课堂上回答发表过的人很少）? 看来相当少，这也难怪，很多
学生刚刚进入课题，也许是来凑凑热闹, 看看鲁白是个什么样的怪物，没有关系，反正
我是来献丑了 （笑） 。
要写好的文章，最重要问题的不是英文，也不是写作的技巧，而是要有好的科学。研究
工作做得好这是最重要的。有一个错误的印象，认为只要我写得好，就可以发表在好的
杂志上，这是不对的。要发表好的文章，是非常非常困难的一件事情，最主要的因素是
一定要有一流的工作。所以今天我借这机会，主要讲的不是怎样写，而要怎样才能够做

我们实验室的技术员，跟我一样本科毕业02年夏天来的，今年申请PHD，居然已经拿到了
harvard,stanford,yale,princeton,john hopkins,uw-madison,ucsd,ucsf的面试，都是
top的neuroscience，成功率接近100％，这几周简直成了空中飞人了，有趣的是，唯独
被我们学校据了（我们学校neurosci排第十）
想当年我申请，拼死了拿了7个面试6个offer，成功率50％，感觉自己本科的学校比他好
的多，研究经历也不比他差我有SCI他没有，难道是美国人和牛推荐就能占这么大的便宜？ |

involves work on projects with longer timeline than is typical in academia

发帖数: 70 | 49 楼主我们背景相似，我也是国内临床医学的本科，之后折腾了很多领域。在欧洲做过一
段computational neuroscience方向也有一作文章，现在在美国读psychology/
neuroscience的phd, 统计/模型为主，正要毕业。说真的我在还没有读PhD之前就想了
很久，也到版上来咨询过。然后根据这么多年折腾的结果，我觉得其实还是考板是正道
。现在自己感觉浪费了太多时间。
科研吧，说真的，不管是哪个方向都一样的辛苦一样的难做出来。我自己Phd学校不错
，当初也是怀着学术梦想精心选择的学校和方向，但是现在已经放弃了，虽然我们实验
室出过faculty，但是我知道其中的不容易。还有我老公也是做machine learning方向
的（他是理论物理出身的，编程/计算机基础都比我更好一些，德国还算不错的学校博
士，藤校博后，有cns子刊啊PRL啊等的一作文章），以前认为可能找起工作来没有纯实
验那么辛苦（至少funding要求没那么高吧），现在开始准备才知道太天真了。然后我
们这种国内临床医学背景，你开始考了usmle才会知道，真的跟没学没什么两样。我以
