1、iDirect公司支持H1B和绿卡；
2、这次，软件部分一共有8个位置，我们一个多月之前就开始招人，但是一直没有找到
合适的人选，所以现在还是8个位置；
3、如果申请NMS的位置，请在简历中强调Java经历，这次招人主要是做web；如果申请
Datapath的位置，请在简历中强调C++的经历；

5、iDirect这个公司挺好的，在现在整体经济情况不好的情况下运营很好，持续在招人
。我进这个公司两年多，公司人数扩张一倍。

来了以后很顺利的在去年9月拿到了一家小公司的offer，当时是答应sponsor H1B （都
写在offer letter里了）. 我在和他们接触的开始就提到了我的身份问题，也告诉过
他们外国人在美国工作的困难。他们当时的反应时他们办理过H1B，他们有经验，所以
很有信心的把H1B的承诺写到了offer letter里。现在看来他们的经验可能来自7，8年
前了，低估了现在H1B的稀缺程度，之后他们的律师也建议了一些别的方法希望能让我
尽早上班，经过近3个多月的折腾，最终以失败告终。昨天我收到了HR的邮件，通知我
他们withdraw给我的offer，希望我以后顺利云云。老实说，接触下来这家公司的人都
还不错，也花了很多金钱和精力在VISA的申请上，这一点我还是很感谢他们的，但是想
想寄予我们全家那么大希望的offer就这样没有了，心里还是有些不甘，我是不是还是
应该再争取一下，应该怎么办呢？
版上的兄弟基本上都是同行，如果有什么机会也请伸手帮帮忙，先感谢大家。附上我的

exchange也会double check的
主要还是MARKET MICRO STRUCTURE的问题，按照SEC
和国会的说法就是太过于FRAGMENTED
事情是这样的，大概是道指跌掉400多点的时候，几只股
票的市场波动太大，特别是PG的，促发了NYSE的保护机制
（LRP)；这个保护机制会停止电子连续交易，转而把order
送到floor上由specialist来人工交易；这个机制是为了
放慢交易速度，使得地板交易员可以有时间考虑一下
其中有个PG的单子很大，来的时机也不妙，大概是道指down
了3.0%多的时候，至于它怎么来的，现在还不知道
事情就坏在这里，NMS规定只有自动的quote才是受保护的，
NYSE一停止自动的quote，别的交易所就可以不理会NYSE
上的QUOTE来匹配ORDER；这样一下子SELL ORDER就变得
居多，而且大部分是逃跑的OR |

我个人认为HFT这几年一直都在down
我这里讲的是狭义的HFT，或者叫Ultra HFT。这个东西的这几年的发展大概
是这样的：先是00年左右的decimalization开始，这个时候离火还差的很远。
然后NASDAQ收购INET（岛） NYSE收购ARCA（群岛），这个时候开始火了，几乎
是指数级别的上升，到08年10月达到巅峰。那个时候是最好的时候，首先revenue
非常高，其次人少，大部分的shop都在40，50人左右或者以下，可想而知分起钱
来有多爽。
接下来的世道基本是螺旋式下降，除了flash crash之外，基本不见起色，到了今天
，nyse一天的成交量大概从巅峰的15b到6，7b，VIX也在20左右，每千股或者每百股
毛利大概是08年的一半，所以US equity market的油水基本上没有了。而且基本上最
好的trade已经进入硬件的时代了，infinity band， celoxcia都是标配。不少广告你
